The Guardline Wireless Driveway Alarm allows for a quarter mile between the sensor and the receiver. The sensors are weatherproof and interference-free, and the receivers have a battery backup as well as a 12-volt relay for connecting to additional external alarms. The Guardline driveway alarm has over 30 programmable alert sounds and may be upgraded to include up to 16 sensors, or four zones with four sensors and one receiver each.

This product works as advertised, simple to set up and appears robust. If I had one gripe it would be the 32 different melodies and all thirty-two stink! An alarm should give an alarm sound, not a bunch of foo-foo girly ringtones. A klaxon bell as in general quarters, an aah-oo-ga collision alarm....something manly and John Wayne-ish. If MS-13 is rolling into my driveway to kill me, I don't need the theme from "Indiana Jones" to wake me up. Grow a pair, Guideline!

A single sensor and receiver are included in the Chamberlain base system. Later on, you can add up to three additional sensors, but you’ll have to buy them individually. When someone (or anything) violates the sensor’s line, the receiver issues a visual and audible alarm. The sensor can detect motion up to 30 feet away and communicate with a receiver up to a half-mile distant. The receiver runs on AA batteries or an AC converter, so you can take it into the yard with you.

Love it! Love the manufacturers product support. Rrfreshing. This product works exceptionally well. Period. Performs without hesitation. The unit is battery operated which means it works with power outages. Plus, Inside alarm is 120 volt "and" battery backup. We have a couple of these and the dogs respond correctly to the located of the alerts, based on the number of beeps. If the grid goes down, no problem.

When activated, the Rodann Electrics device consists of a sensor and a receiver that emits a sound. It works on two AA batteries and is compact and inconspicuous. The receiver does not have a battery backup and relies on a 12-volt power source. A LED display on the receiver displays how many times the sensor has been triggered.

I've had this alarm now for 6 months and I'm blown away with its accuracy. I live on a couple of acres and the family and I know that when we hear the alarms signal - someone is actually there, either on foot or in a vehicle. The only false alarm we ever receive is when 2 Sandhill Cranes (very large birds) that live in my neighborhood walk through my gate setting off the alarm. But, that's not actually a false alarm.

The Safety Technology sensor may be as far away from the receiver as 1,000 feet. This sensor performs an excellent job of ignoring shadows, animals, and humans. In theory, only passing automobiles will activate the driveway monitor. It detects passing automobiles using a magnetic sensor, which is powered by a solar panel, eliminating the need to replace batteries.

Works great just as described. (once or twice it has rang with a false alarm but this was due to an extra large truck going down the road). I would recommend this to a friend! Pretty cool to have solar technology in a drive way alert.. no wires to install .. Really nice to be laerted that someone has pulled into the drive before you hear the knock on the door LOL SUPER product.

The DIY security system from ADT is very easy to setup and it does not required a contract. It could be done from the Blue by ADT app as well as Blue by ADT website. The ADT DIY comes with a hub, 3x door/window sensors, 1x motion sensor, ADT yard sign and 4x windows/door stickers. Devices could be added as you go and the prices appear to be reasonable. Another benefit is the option to create alerts if your children enter an area that has been designated as prohibited. Another amazing aspect is how simple it is to put everything together. Each of the three warning alternatives, door chime, flashing LED light, and door chime with flashing LED light, has a distinct purpose.

We placed a sensor at the mid section on our lane to alert of someone arriving, which is a god bit away from the house. It was extremely easy to install. Plug it in and mount the sensor and good to go. The motion detection does pick up on birds flying by or wind gusts occasionally, but that’s not a complaint from us. I would recommend this. I’m know I didn’t have high hopes after reading the negative reviews, but I’m guessing most of those are user error. I’m a young female and installed myself and have no issues with this product.

The security coverage provided by this little motion sensor is excellent. Infrared heat signature technology is used by most home and commercial security systems. Visitors and individuals moving about are detected by the motion detector using their heat signature. The typical sensor has a range of 30 feet. Current-generation sensors with a 90-degree field of view can cover a 40-foot area when mounted in a corner. It may be put in a halfway or middle room because of its compact size. If you want to get the most out of it, put it in a room corner. For best security coverage, mount it at least 5 feet up the wall.

Picture quality is wonderful, custom zones for motion detection allows me to mark where my property begins so my neighbors do not set off the alarm unless they step into my yard. Settings for sensitivity allow small animals to not set off the alarm. The monthly cost of keeping motion detections videos is well worth the cost.
