Logically, the ND filter is a piece of a lens to absorb blindly light during the daytime when the sun shining so brightly. That’s why some people believe that it is not necessary to have ND filters for their photography kit when they tend to capture at nighttime since it works similarly with sunglasses. Well, it has been massive confusion and some photographers despised the idea of using ND filters for night shooting. But hey, if you take a look closely and you have such a big and super big curiosity, maybe you want to explore the richness of this filter. From NiSi’s point of view, they believe that ND filters, or they call it a night filter, is very much capable to reduce the glare, the reflection from the excessive brightness due to the major lightning. Besides, it is also helpful to remove the other subtle light pollutions at night. Moreover, some photographers already did that. For example, you can check the work from PAMMYV02 with its ND filters for night photography. For that reason, we proudly recommend these ND filters for your night photography.

But if you have multiple lens sizes and want to constantly change the lens and camera, you can pick the square one. It is completely up to you.
How do I install an ND filter?
For around ND filter, before you buy, you are expected to be able to choose the size yourself that has been adjusted to the camera lens you have. As for the square shape, you can use a ring holder to make sure no light penetrates your camera lens.
What is the purpose of an ND filter?
Lots of uses for ND filters for maximum photo results. Three of them are to give satisfactory results when you want to shoot a landscape with a long exposure. Then the most fun thing is, with the F-stop feature, you can slow down your shutter speed so that it can be used to remove moving people or objects from your photos.
Should I use an ND filter?
Not really. You can do your photography hobby without an ND filter. You can explore it according to your abilities. It won’t give you a nasty tint on your night photography. This filter designed by completed professional optical glasses instead of Optical resin, that’s why it is superior to filter the light including the light during the night without violating the color gradation because still it held natural beauty. Other features are it developed new Nano coating layer technology, waterproof, scratch-resistant, anti-reflective green coating, effectively prevent from oil, fingerprint, scratch, protect valued lens.
At time of this review I have had the filter for roughly 4 days.Easily my favorite attribute about this filter is the lack of 'X' problems with photos. With many variable neutral density filters you can spin the filter too far and create an 'X' unintentionally. K&F have solved this issue by only allowing the filter to twist to a certain spot so the use will not accidentally ruin any photos. The filter feels very rugged and sturdy. The portion of the filter that does not spin has grooves on it to easily hold on and twist the outer ring. Great product so far.

DHG ND-100000 Solid Neutral
Allows Reduced Shutter Speed
Marumi is a brand from Japan. This filter comes in 5.0 density and a 92.000x filter factor for 16.5 stop exposure reduction. You can capture the myriad stars in the night sky without trouble, as well as you can catch the pretty aurora landscape at the North pole. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control the depth of the field.
Well, I had to wait until the eclipse to be sure this worked as advertised - but it did! In fact, if anything, I had trouble with shutter speeds that were too slow - in the El Paso TX are so the eclipse was only 62% covering at maximum, and yet still I was shooting my Fuji 100-400 with 2X TC at about 1/170 second using ISO 3200 (and setting the camera to -3EV underexposure)

10.Platinum
Variable Neutral Density (ND) Lens Filter
Deliver Clear, High-Quality Images
This Variable Neutral Density filter from Platinum is compatible with most 67mm, 58mm, and 52mm lenses. It can reduce the light that can blind your camera lens. The reducing effect is helpful to get you to always operate the camera with the highest rate of aperture, so you don’t neglect the sharpness and the depth-in-filed aspect of your image. It reduces incoming light between 1 and 8.6 f-stops.
This is a all around great filter to have in your bag of goodies. What I really like about this filter is the fact that you have multiple filters all rolled into one. This filter gives you between 1 and 8.6 f-stops which covers most anything that I shoot. This works well for those long exposures with flowing water, makes for some really nice effects. Also, the aluminum frame makes for a hassle free operation and the dial on the side is easy to read.
