The Shimano 24-speed transmission on the Hiland 26 is simple for youngsters to operate and much easier for parents to maintain.

I went to local bike shops to look at mountain bikes and the prices were really high. I thought this bike looked good and wasn't expensive compared to the bike shop bikes, I took a chance. It was easy to put together. The brakes and derailleurs needed to be adjusted but the parts and mechanisms are all high-quality. The bike handles really well and gobble up rocks and roots. I'm really happy with this bike!

The Schwinn High Timber is a budget-friendly mountain bike that’s ideal for getting off the outskirts of town. It’s well-equipped, attractive, and really simple to keep up with. It boasts a contemporary appearance with a lightweight and robust aluminum frame that increases comfort. The major feature of this bike is its good aesthetics, but it is also rather well-equipped for the price. High Timber comes with platform pedals and a comfy seat that will support you well on prolonged rides. Because this bike boasts a 21-speed gearbox, you won’t have to worry about having the correct gear for a hard climb. The bike also boasts mechanical disc brakes in the front and back instead of V-brakes, which is a significant bonus for a budget mountain bike.

Fine step-through for a 5’2” woman. The frame and all other components give confidence that they will serve well for many years. We have customized the bike with a taller, adjustable handlebar stem and a shock-absorbing seatpost. We added a handlebar-mounted water bottle adapter and holder, a rear rack, and front and rear lights. It looks a little tricked-out to me but it’s the functionality that we wanted optimized.

Much though it is inexpensive, the bike looks great on the streets and rides even better. The 100 mm of travel on the SR Suntour XCT front fork is sufficient for enjoyable rides on rough roads or leisure riding on mild terrain. It smooths out the ride and reduces vibrations to a minimum. When the terrain underneath you turns dicey, the fork and frame enable for wide knobby tires, which you’ll adore. Even while riding in damp weather, you’ll have plenty of grip. The Royce Union has 22 gears and a 211-speed transmission, which is more than enough. You won’t need anything else. Shimano SLX components are included on the bike, which are an outstanding mid-tier groupset.

Love this bike and the color is beautiful! Got a new bike to try and keep up with my husbands fancy bike and does really good considering the price difference between his and mine.. would recommend to anyone

The mechanical disc brakes on the Mongoose Malus may need more muscle in your fingers to completely engage, but they brake far more effectively than V-brakes. The Mongoose Malus doesn’t come with the cheapest components, since it has a 17-speed transmission with a Shimano rear derailleur. Because fat bikes are designed for harsh terrains and situations where you don’t need to travel very quickly, they normally don’t come with a lot of gears. As a result, Malus’ seven speeds will more than enough.

I LOVE this bike! I am a hefty dude who's trying to lose weight. So, it could be due to my "fattitude," but the OG saddle rode up my bum and squished my jubblies. Thus, I had to find a saddle with more than a little padding to help keep my family jewels and backdoor intact and healthy. Other than that, the Mongoose Fat Tire bike is amazing for this fat guy! I am hoping to not be as fat, soon, as this Mongoose makes riding FUN!

This is my third mountain bike, and it is, by far, the best. The quality is very good, but the main benefit is in how well it handles. I love riding this bike around on streets and bike trails. I haven't had a chance to see how it performs on a mountain trail, but I feel confident that it will perform well. Highly recommended.

Because it is composed of high-quality materials, this Schwinn is a fantastic value for the money. It includes 27.5-inch wheels and disc brakes, allowing you to maneuver around obstacles and come to a rapid halt. It rides on large knobby mountain tires that are big enough for off-road riding but not too wide for commuting on the road. Given that it features entry-level front suspension, the bike may be a tad on the heavy side. This suspension isn’t designed for severe trail riding, but it will make off-road rides much more comfortable. The Shimano Tourney system on this hardtail bike includes 21 speeds. If you’re looking for a cheap hardtail bike with the best comfort for off-road excursions, this is the bike for you.

I like all component of this bike, the drivetrain is good, the 21 gears are amazing, and the disc break work real good. I do recommend this bike, no complains at all. Good price.

This Bike is BEAUTIFUL! I put it together but needed to make sure it was safe so I went to a bike shop! Love this bike perfect for me! I’m 5’2! Just in case someone looking for bike and similar height... I used to rent a bike and ride but since having my own bike it’s much faster than the bikes we rent! I already had a bike seat so I dnt know if the seat is comfortable and I had to buy a kickstand because I’m old school lol Also it comes with a wheel that you can take off easily so storing in a car is very easy which was definitely a plus for me!

I have had this bike for over three years now. I took it once for a tube-up but otherwise have not done any maintenance other than living the chain here and there. I ride with people on $7000 bikes and the only advantage they clearly have is dropper posts and rear suspension. I ride medium skill level trails and am really impressed with the performance and durability of this bike.
