This mosquito repellent sunscreen lotion has an SPF of 30, which is sufficient to protect your child’s delicate skin. Aloe and Vitamin E, hydrates dry skin without feeling oily. This lotion is free of DEET and PABA. It keeps mosquitoes, black flies, and deer ticks at bay. It is suitable for youngsters aged 6 months and above. For bug control, reapply every two hours to a maximum of nine times per day, and less often for your infant.

For a product that, on the face it, smells good and acts as a moisturizer, is really does repel bugs for anyone who may be a skeptic. I learned about it from several neighbors who suffered the same bug attacks I had.

This is the only all-natural insect spray for kids on our list, and it’s the only one without DEET, Picaridin, IR3535, or Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus. Some of these should be known, especially Citronella, which is often used in mosquito repellent candles. It’s not very efficient as a human repellent, but it does give some mild to moderate protection for a short time. They are only effective for 30-60 minutes and have a mild to moderate impact.

You’ll smell like a walking citronella candle but you’re not going to get bit by mosquitoes. Impressed!
