Hoses are bigger than I thought. Otherwise works great. Cooled my small room down in 20 minutes. Very quite compared to my box fan turned on high.

It may function as an air conditioner, a fan, or a dehumidifier. More significantly, its bucket-less design, which evaporates condensation from the air conditioner without the need to pour water, simplifies and simplifies maintenance.

Very good air conditioner for my small apartment.i live on the third floor and it gets 10 degrees warmer then outside temp I added this unit in my bedroom to supplement my living room window unit and this is far better in every way!!!

The Whynter ARC-14S Dual Hose Portable Air Conditioner is towards the top of the portable air conditioner price range. That so, you should definitely be sure you need this much air conditioning before investing in the ARC-14S; it isn’t cheap, weighs a hefty 80 pounds, and lacks handles, making it difficult to move on anything other than smooth flat surfaces. It has a 14,000 BTU ASHRAE (9,500 DOE) rating and can easily chill a 600-square-foot room while circulating 253 cubic feet per minute.

Noise level is loud but that’s okay! It cools down my living room/ dining room in under ten minutes. I just use a fan to draw cooler air into my bedroom. My Windows are funky but I did what they said and used what i could to make minor corrections to fill small gaps. Would totally recommend this unit!

Does a really well job of keeping my room upstairs cool, that room used to get really hot because it faces the sun and our AC unit is small. but this portable AC unit did the trick, helps me sleep during the day because I work night shift.

It has a cooling capacity of 500 square feet and an airflow of 3,100CFM.

Keeps the garage cool in the heat while husband works on projects. Wheel it anywhere we want it. Easy to use just hook the hose to it for longer use. Fill the reservoir for shorter times. A little noisy but for where and when we use it…we are not paying attention to the noise.
