This is a medium-diaphragm condenser with just a cardioid polar pattern, making it relatively specialized to lone voice recording, although it’s excellent at it. The AT2020UBS+ comes dangerously near to duplicating the warmth and detail of the FOX but falls just short. However, the Audio-unique Technica’s features (breathiness and a wonderfully nice top end) make it ideal for spoken voices.

This made me realize how nice a voice can be with a proper microphone. It is ideal for work, discussions on discord and gaming

It works well with the Elgato Stream Deck, but it is also compatible with many major streaming systems and software installations. Its 24-bit / 96 kHz analog to digital converter produces professional-level sound, even when delivered through more compressed sources such as YouTube. It is more portable, lighter, and less showy than similarly priced competitors.

Sound is great, lots of options with the Wavelink software. Great to control sound and inputs for streaming and even just for use while gaming and using Discord. Love it so far.
