Yo, these boots are hardcore. I usually destroy a pair of boots in a month or two regardless of how much i spend on them. They have extra layers all over the place and the composite toe is lightwiehgt but very strong and covered by rubber,and leather. The sole is very tread-laden and is a durable rubber (hasnt worn the lines off the x's even) and very comfortable.

I gave this review quite a while from the time of purchase to now. These boots are great and I absolutelt love them. They are awesome quality full or top grain leather boots. The color I got is the copper rough and tough. I will say like all new boots there is a break in period but once fitted they feel so good to wear.

OK so I’m ready mix driver, after each load of concrete I go to the back of the truck and spray down the concrete with water which does create slurry getting all over my boots. So finding the right boots for my line of work has been quite difficult until I found these they seem to work great and hold up and are very comfortable and most of all my feet are dry when I come home.!:)

These nasty guys are loaded with convenience features. The distinctive white, wear max soles set these Thorogood boots apart from the competition. The replaceable Poron 4000 shock absorbing inserts are somewhat higher. All of these elements work together to reduce foot shock and increase energy return. These booties are made of tobacco gladiator oil tanned leather with Goodyear construction.

I have never owned a pair of Thorogood boots until recently. Straight out of the box they are beautifully crafted. Made with high quality leather & stitching. The only thing I changed was the shoe laces because I like the leather look, and wrapping them around the back twice.

These boots are very comfortable and warm. I do not work in construction but I am an around the house handy man. After I get home, j take off my dress shoes and put these on to start working in the garage or house. I am not a big spender as these were the most expensive shoes I have ever bought. But they are worth it!

I am a driver for UPS and walk around 8-10 miles a day, in all conditions from snow and rain to 100 degree asphalt, and I need boots that can keep my feet comfortable all day, provide protection and traction, and look good at the same time. I wore these for six months before I reviewed them because I wanted to be sure, but I really can't find anything to criticize.
