I know hiking shoes, I've hiked all over the world. Sure, you can purchase some really nice expensive shoes that can do the job, but from my experience, go for the fit, not the brand, or model or what's advertised as the best...etc. This boot just felt good when you put it on. It's light, and it feels durable. I did add an extra application on waterproofing on the outside, not necessary, but it won't hurt.

These boots are great. I normally wear a size 8 in women's and ordered a size 8 in these so that I would still have a roomy fit when wearing really thick socks. They fit fine; they're a little roomy but I like that- I can slide them on and off from a standing position and don't have to sit down to pull them on and off. I have worn them in deep snow and they keep my feet warm and dry.

Even though these Skechers boots are just ankle-high, they give superb ankle support. These kind of boots with a bigger toe box that are waterproof and comfy are quite difficult to come by without paying a considerable sum. Don’t worry if it rains since these shoes are waterproof. These shoes are made of memory foam, which makes them very light and comfy.

I run a donkey sanctuary and am on my feet all day. I have plantar fasciitis and have tried many, more expensive brands. As a woman, finding boots that have a wider toe box and waterproof and comfortable without spending a small fortune is near impossible. These boots are so comfortable and have allowed me to feel good for my 12+ hour days. Really, you can't go wrong with Skechers!

I should note that I avoid doing any heavy work in these boots which is surely a factor. However, I wear them very frequently from mid-fall to mid-spring, around 100 days a year. They are very breathable, and can be worn in 70 degree weather no problem.
