Wakey Wakey by Perky Perky may sound like an obnoxious beverage to have first thing in the morning, but the Costa Rican bean has enticing overtones of chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut. This mild roast, on the other hand, has an even greater finish: it’s highly caffeinated.

Starbucks is well-known, usually for its frappuccinos, but we shouldn’t forget that those drinks start with regular coffee. They have a lot of different flavors from different countries. Just because you’re drinking coffee to wake up in the morning doesn’t mean you need to be shocked awake. In addition, Veranda has hints of soft cocoa and lightly toasted nuts, and it’s a nice way to ease into the day.

The goal of Real Good Coffee Co. is a good one. What makes it great is the packaging can be recycled 100 percent of the time, even for their single-serve pods. They also got “good to drink” right, since the Breakfast Blend starts out strong with a chocolatey and creamy flavor and ends with a nice citrusy note. Therefore, it’s made with Arabica beans from Central and South America and roasted here in the United States.

"These packets are super handy to use. The resulting coffee is not weak at all and produces a full flavored cup of cold brew. I tend to like dark roast coffee but this tasted really nice to me with a splash of cream and a touch of sweetener. A handy option that requires no measuring and little cleanup."
