The laser cap on this green flashlight allows you to regulate the size and form of the beam. The cap may be rotated for varied patterns, but to use a single laser as a laser pointer, just remove it.

It works out of the box. Very bright green light. (Careful with your eyes.) I bought it as a daylight laser pointer to be used outdoors to assist in following property boundary lines from survey point corners. I can see the raw beam on black asphalt at over 100' distance in bright sunlight, so it is more than adequate for my needs. Because the NcStar Green Laser is designed for rifles and pistols, it is very precise. Once positioned properly, it can provide a powerful and accurate laser beam for lengthy durations. It may be used as a laser pointer with a telescope.

The Weaver rail on the Smith 22A Target pistol is closed at both ends. This was the only laser sight I could find with a clamp type attachment rather then a "slide on" style mount. It zeroed in pretty quickly, I am still fine tuning it. ( I need a pistol vise to really get it right) So far after 100 rounds, it still holds its adjustment. Really, a phenomenal piece of equipment for the price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. By the way, NcStar technical assistance phone number is outstanding. You would think it’s just a presentation clicker, but it’s not. Wireless presentation clicking is an optional extra that you may employ. Its bright green laser beam makes it ideal for astronomy and laser star pointing. It has a 360mAh rechargeable battery for extended battery life. The battery charges in about an hour and may last for weeks depending on use. It offers an auto-sleep feature to conserve power. So it won’t get left on in your pocket, the flashlight goes to sleep after a few minutes. The DinoFire Green Laser is tough and lasts a long time. It comes with a case to protect it from external harm.

This tool works well for the presentations I share in church. I did not comment upon the battery life and volume control because I don't use the volume control, and I have had the device for only a few weeks, so I don't yet know about battery life. I have no trouble advancing the slides or returning to one when necessary. I like the slim design. I stand about 6 feet from my computer during most of the presentation, but I have experimented and could stand across the room if I wanted.

This is a moderately strong (<5mW) laser. It has a momentary on button (with a plastic guard). The tail cap protects the USB-A charging port.

This Twod laser pointer likewise uses 532 nm and a power of less than 5 mW. It’s a 3R laser, which is somewhat more powerful than 3A lasers.

This laser is nice and bright. I love that fact that it comes with two sets of mounts, the pressure switch has the better style of cord that is made with quality rubber and not that plastic coating as some of the other more expensive brands have. I also like that it comes with a rechargeable battery. The x and y adjustments work as they should and it holds zero. A youtuber named 704Tactical posted this on his youtube page and did a pretty good beat down on this laser and was impressed, so I had to have one myself. For this quality and included accessories for this price, ya just can't beat it.
