For this being the lowest entry level product I can definitely say I am pretty happy with it. I had to buy this for work to measure insulation levels in attics.

It is, however, best used inside, even throughout the day. It runs on four AA batteries and has a runtime of over 30 hours.

It's great because it has a rechargeable battery, I'm a commercial contractor and this is great when you need 3 points of level.

Nothing more complicated than plain red laser leveling. For those who are unfamiliar with the company, PLS is now owned by Fluke. This specific PLS laser level has been drop-tested for a distance of one meter, making it an excellent choice for construction projects.

I'm a professional wallcovering installer & this is my 2nd PLS. Most installers I know use the PLS system for it's accuracy & dependability.
