The DEWALT DW089K Line Laser is made to endure, with an almost over-molded construction that can withstand a few drops without damaging the laser. It’s essentially a large roll-cage. On-site operation is likewise simple, with one button per laser and a large, easily handled knob for exact intersecting line adjustment (or easy re-direction to the next wall). A low battery indication on the side is a nice touch, you won’t notice it for another 25 hours.

Have used about 6 other brand/models and this has been the best as long as it has the features you need

The CIGMAN CM-701 is a powerful device with a built-in battery that is one of the cheapest available in the tough professional category but goes out of its way to be helpful on-site, despite its modest size for a 3-plane laser. The turret design means there are 360 lasers in all three axes, but to save battery life, each can be turned off independently through their own button on the casing – no need to click several buttons to cycle among the lasers.

Huge time saver. So easy to use and great price. Accurate to about 1/8 at 50' based on my backchecks.

The Huepar Box-1G is capable of handling all of the same conditions as other cross-beam lasers, with the extra benefit of a 510nm “Green” laser. There is a lock for manual mode so you may do stair laying or other operations requiring angles, in addition to the self-leveling pendulum, which, like other works, is within 4 degrees. The four batteries should keep the laser blazing for four hours, but you may prolong that time by cycling among the beams using the power button.
