However, for your safety, we recommend that you read the instruction manual beforehand and double-check which materials you may safely slice through.

Using a high-powered laser unit, the Ortur Laser Master can “draw” a picture on material while controlling the laser beam with more precision. The safety button on this product was well-thought-out. A G sensor on the motherboard will stop the laser beam if the system detects an error. A computer crash or USB unplugging will stop the laser engraving machine from moving, causing the machine to stop working. Even if the laser engraving machine is properly calibrated but the user forgets to turn it on, the additional safety will be turned off in order not to start a fire if the motor goes out.

This has been fun to use. The videos online were helpful and it was pretty easy to catch on. Assembly wasn't too difficult. It will not burn a cut through wood, it is perfect for engraving.
