Price was great, the construction of the laser is awesome. Has a sturdy metal frame and was very easy to assemble. Cuts through 5mm birch ply without any problems. The software is a little plain however it’s very easy to create a design in lightburn and import it to the laserbox program. Hopefully soon xtool will be able to run right off of lightburn, I heard they are working on that and should be up and running very soon. All in all, great product!

This is already a high-output laser that can be enhanced. Thus increasing the production of an already rapid engraving machine and maybe increasing the money income. It’s simple to use if you’re tech-savvy and have some expertise with these equipment. It is also quite straightforward to use for the newbie engraver. It will not be difficult to set up and operate this laser engraver once it is received. It saves time and has pre-installed applications so you can start working right away.

I purchased this machine a couple of months age and use it a few times a week. Setup is easy. Instructions to operate the machine need to be more detailed. There are some good videos on YouTube for learning to use the software and settings for the laser. It does a great job on aluminum and stainless steel which is what I use it for. My needs are relatively simple, but I do expect quality results. The software and machine are capable of so much more than I will ever need or use.

I bought this last month. Shipping was really fast and well packing!! I was so worried because here had some bad reviews. But my machine is pretty ! I tried to cut acrylic and wood but both came out great:) I feel this water pump is not so good but it’s working. I think I’ll upgrade my water pump. This was over $450 but I feel totally worth!! It was very easy setting for beginners. This is my first laser cutter machine. But just amazing for me !

Hi all! Today I decided to build a Raspberry Pi ad-blocker for my home wifi network. Building the Pi was easy, modelling the Pi and Router in Fusion360 was a little more of a challenge. With the GlowForge I was able to test out sizes, tolerances and clearances using cardstock before moving on to the final materials. The GlowForge makes the minor mistakes I made in measurements a worry-free process because of the flexibility I’m afforded by being able to use things like cardstock to test with. The operations compared to 3d printing and milling are far quicker to iterate and for that, this piece of equipment took no time at all to build. I can't fully express my satisfaction with this product.

Do not allow children to use or be around the machine while in operation. Use proper PPE while operating or making adjustments.

For the most economical laser cutter on Amazon, the SUNCOO K-40 is the most popular pick. However, it does contain a lot of useful features at a reasonable price. High-quality cutting and engraving may also be done at a minimal cost using this equipment. If you’re a small company trying to save money, this is a fantastic alternative.

My newest toy,... eh, I mean newest tool. Less than $400 and works perfectly out of the box. Set up time about half an hour. Loading and discarding supplies software 2 hours. Finding, loading, and learning new software 3 hours. Watching it cut and engrave is fascinating.
And yes, I will be adding air assist and modifying the bed. I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm using inkscape and K40 Whisperer on an old slow netbook and they work flawlessly (unlike the unusable software sent with the engraver). There is a learning curve but that's part of the fun for me.
