They will remain totally frozen for 6 hours, and in some cases, longer. This product is a terrific kid ice pack since it is constructed of 100 percent BPA free non-toxic material and FDA-certified gel. It lasts the whole day, so if you can’t finish your food, you can eat it as a snack when you come home.

I just got them and made sure a couple of them will fit on the sides and/or bottom of my lunch tote for travel. They're great and freeze really quickly! They're not heavy or thick, they're great!
