I was tentative because of the cost. So extremely worth it. Felted pocket for sunglasses or clears. Water is securely sealed in the bladder, with a bladder hanger so it’s not awkward on your back. Small pocket for tools or keys, larger pocket includes the bladder, a pocket for the air pump, and general to carry what ever else (snacks). The straps hold it secure, the back and straps are vented for sweating. Truly a great product!

Ergo For a tight and sturdy fit, pull the waist strap closing system.

I love this pack, I use it for running as well as bike riding. It’s great that it has a magnet that holds the mouthpiece and you can quick grab it when you are running or biking & quickly put it back in place. I also like that all the parts are lifetime warranty!! I keep mine in the freezer & thaw it enough that it still has ice in it all through a long run. Convenient pouch to carry extras & smaller pouches on the sides for a quick snack.

If you don’t want to carry a lot of weight, this Osprey Katari pack contains roughly 1.5L. One of the benefits is the amazing magnet design, which binds the bite valve to the sternum strap magnetically to prevent the hose from hanging. This way, it’ll always be in the same area, making it easier to find and utilize. It also comes with a blinker. If you prefer a different fit or want additional water, this model also comes in a women’s or 2.5L capacity variant.

I bought this for cycling and the other contender was the CB Chase vest. If you are looking for a minimalist hydration pack that is super comfortable this is a great option. A great feature is the magnetic mouthpiece as it makes drink tube storage and recovery super simple. You can put a couple of items in with the water bladder if you want (I stick my phone in there as GPS). There is one zip pocket at the type of the bag good for a few bars or something and I am able to open it, retrieve a bar, and close it while riding. Well made all the way around and very light; I would highly recommend this for active sports.

Camelbak’s Lobo seems to be a popular favorite. This is the one for you if you’re heading out all day or need to carry stuff in your hydration pack. It has a 3L capacity and plenty of storage space. The Lobo is perfect for days when the weather is clear and the trail is calling—days when you want to go light and fast by ditching most of your stuff. Camelbak also has customized versions for woman and persons with smaller frames that may fit better.

Bought for use during Spartan OCR and mud races. So far it's held up through multiple *VERY MUDDY* races. I take out the bladder & throw the thing in the washing machine with all my other muddy clothes and it's good to go. The big 3L bladder was enough for me & 1 other racer to finish a 13 mile beast course without having to refill at a water station.

Camelbak’s Hydrobak 50 is a smaller hydration pack that weighs less since you’re carrying less water. It holds around 50 oz, or the equivalent of two big water bottles. This is a fantastic alternative for shorter journeys when you’ll be able to replenish it during rest spots. Riders may sometimes carry two bottles on their bike and wear one of them, giving them a total of four bottles.

I love this CamelBak. My husband and I have several different sizes and models and this one is by far the best. Not only don't you have to remove the bladder to fill it, but also you don't have to line up the closing cap in a specific way. It screw closed from any position. It doesn't have a large capacity, but I only want it for shorter walks: 3-6 miles.
