They have a close-fitting hoof capsule with Kevlar reinforced heel protection and are constructed of a waterproof and breathable cloth around the cannon bone to minimize overheating. They also include a PU striking pad that is contoured to guard against brushing. They are machine washable at 30°C and may be used on both the front and back legs.

My horse has white legs and had a problem with scratches, I had no place to turn him out when the ground was wet. These boots will allow me to turn him out and protect his legs.

The boots were easy to put on and take off but I would recommend wraps be put on ankles & bulbs to stop any rubbing. Mine fit correct in the hoof but loose around the top so added wraps and movement stopped
