Fender’s Tre-Verb Tremolo is a wonderful little pedal. You may pick from optical, bias, or harmonic tremolo on the ‘Tre’ side, all of which sound fantastic. The sensitivity control allows you to make the modulation go nuts with each new note, then gradually decrease in-depth and pace as it decays, while the second footswitch allows you to alternate between two speeds.

The Flashback 2 Mini is highly configurable considering its simple structure, having three knobs compared to the prior incarnation’s single-knob capabilities. The Warm Tape Delay, which varies from a brief slapback to an open 800ms echo, defines the sound of the Flashback II. There’s no ping-pong here because it’s in mono, but the sound quality is more than agreeable to the ear.

Look no further than TC Electronic’s Corona for a straightforward, simple-to-use, and most importantly, great-sounding chorus pedal. The Corona is a tiny digital pedal with just four knobs – Speed, Depth, FX Level, and Tone – as well as stereo and mono ins/outs. It’s a pared-down (as least in appearance) version of the company’s famed – and far more costly and complicated – Stereo Chorus Flanger unit.

When looking at the TC Electronic Ditto Looper for the first time, you’ll see that it’s a small, basic, and minimalistic gadget, which isn’t always a bad thing. It doesn’t seem like many loopers you’ve seen before; there aren’t any knobs, and it just has one footswitch. Beyond the minimalist design, it appears to be incredibly durable and user-friendly. Additionally, the TC Electronic Ditto Looper’s soft-touch controls are very excellent and add to the entire feeling of luxury.
