The Princeton is a legendary guitar amp that takes pedals well. The Princeton Reverb provides vintage Fender tone with spring reverb and tremolo. Its two 6V6 output tubes produce 12 watts via a 10-inch Jensen alnico speaker, not the most powerful in this bunch, but it can compete in the studio. It has an extension speaker output, so it could work in certain live situations.

This is a loud amp. Don't let the low wattage fool you. It'll rattle the neighbor's teeth. I have to use an attenuator in order to get the tubes to saturate without going deaf. The sound is fantastic. The difference between the two channels is nice. The first channel is very 'old school bassman'. Think BB King or Clapton's blues stuff. The second channel is John Mayer's Gravity or Pearl Jam's Yellow Ledbetter.

If you need additional power for gigging, the Milkman JHS “Loud is More Good” amp is great for pedals. This 40-watt all-tube 112 combination is great for guitarists who depend on their pedalboard to sculpt their tone. It has two instrument inputs with volume, treble, and bass controls. The 12-inch Jupiter ceramic-magnet speaker is housed in a beautiful white-clad wood cabinet.

Perhaps...perhaps the best clean amp I've ever played through after 30+ years of playing. The first words that come to mind are clarity and definition. A modern day Fender Blackface made with the best parts available and stunning attention to detail. It's loud and proud and certainly makes the perfect pedal platform. I've thrown all kinds of pedals at this and not one sounds bad. I've never come across an amp like this yet. Pricey but worth it in my opinion

The Jr. is a 15-watt tube combination with no effects loop. A post-phase-inverter master volume circuit is used. It has a 2-band EQ and a Cut control that affects the high end. Its distinctive tone is characterized by two NOS 6n14n output tubes (the Russian counterpart of EL84s), which produce the expected chime, sag, and responsiveness. You may get substantial distortion at modest volume levels by overdriving the front end and limiting the output stage with the master volume control.

Very dynamic/touch-sensitive amp! Easy to get a wide variety of tones just using your guitar's volume knob. Great build quality, takes pedals extremely well, very quiet, & easy to dial in. I also find the Master Volume to work well for home use.

It’s simple to dial in the proper settings for your guitar and pedals with a 3-band EQ, a Fat switch, and a 6-position Bright switch. Regardless of the pedals you use, the Bravado provides plenty of clean headroom across its entire volume range, providing a full tone with rich harmonic richness.

Wow. This is my first amp that is handwired and in the boutique class. The construction quality is great and the amp looks fantastic. I have only had a couple of hours with the amp, but from everything i have tried it sounds fantastic. The bright switch is very interactive and I was able to switch it depending on pedal and pick up. I was able to find great punchy tones with whatever pedal and pickup combination I was trying to dial in. There is lots of low end available which and it was really tight.

This is such a great combo amp. It"s super versatile and really nice for gigging or recording. I was surprised by the leightweight and smallish footprint. Vibey clean tones and super fat and defined overdrive when you push the tubes. I"m in love. This is exactly what I have been looking for. It also looks great. People comment on how pretty it is when I play out.

The sound of these amps is the foundation of rock’n’roll history. It has 30 watts of power and 212′′ Alnico Blue or Greenback speakers (the CX2 is fitted with Alnico speakers). The tremolo and spring reverb on those amplifiers are impressive, as is the fact that they can be turned on and off with a footswitch. Additional rooty rock ‘n’ roll tones are available with this footswitch push.

Good quality brand at a reasonable price. Three small dials for volume, tone and gain with an FX switch to provide a nice range of sounds. Battery operated, easy to use and perfect for "quiet" practice. Overall just what I was looking for in a plug-in headphone amp. The 'Classic Rock' model works/sounds great for me.

One of the most popular pedal hobbies is the 40 Watt Hot Rod Deville. To test pedals, most pedal manufacturers have a Hot Rod Deville amp in their facilities. This amp has a great bottom end with Fender’s traditional clean tone and reverb. Furthermore, the reasonable price of this amplifier is unbeatable, and you can find it in every location/house set-up globally.

This amp sounds way better than expected! I wanted an amp that I didn’t have to upgrade again. I would buy this amp for the clean tones alone!! I can’t stop playing it (which my wife has noticed ?) it sounds so good. I like rock, blues, with that Les Paul sound, and I get it with this amp.

If you just want a portable speaker with all of the newest technology, including a vast selection of built-in visual effects, go no further than the Fender Super Champ X2. You can generate an infinite number of tones with this amplifier, allowing you to develop your own trademark sound. This speaker is ideal for beginners since it is simple to use. The build quality is outstanding. Fender has a reputation for building amplifiers that take years to complete. That is not the case.

Seriously good amp!
I bought this to hook up to my Shiflett Tele and it does not disappoint. Loud enough to annoy the Mrs and has a great range of tones. A great amp for a decent price. I'm very happy with it.

The Peavey Bandit 112 Trans Tube is a stunning instrument that employs Peavey’s Trans Tube technology to generate tube-like tones from a completely non-tube foundation. This amplifier is great for someone who uses a lot of pedals. Because this amplifier is a strong state device, the music it produces is unexpectedly good, even when the level is turned down. The listener gets access to reverb and a volume control on the amp.

This amp sounds amazing. Used it for band practice. It's plenty loud! Some high-end tube amps don't sound this good. Has a convincing tube sound, without real tubes. Don't just take my word for it. Try the Bandit next to any other amp you're considering... and decide for yourself. Great buy for the price.
