Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
FAQ about amplifier
What is it about guitar amps that makes them sound unique?
The preamp is one of the most important parts of a guitar amplifier’s sound since it shapes tone, generates overdrive and adds effects. In terms of tone and responsiveness, it is the amplifier’s most important component. The preamp transfers the guitar’s signal to the power amp after it has molded it.
What really is up with the fuzziness in my guitar amp?
The term “fuzzy” generally refers to a situation in which too much weight has been gained too quickly. and if the sound is too fuzzy, lower the bass. A third alternative is to purchase an overdrive pedal to boost it, which will lessen the bass and tighten things up, as well as assist a lot with saturation when playing at lower levels.
What is a combo amp?
Amplifiers and speakers are housed together in a single cabinet in a combo (short for combinations). Amplifiers may also be purchased with a separate speaker cabinet. The ability to utilize any amp head with any speaker cabinet is made possible thanks to these adapters.
What materials are guitar amplifiers composed of?
Plywood is often used in the construction of combo guitar amp cabinets and independent speaker cabinets. Some are composed of MDF or particleboard, particularly in low-cost variants.

IK Multimedia
iRig Micro Amp
Far louder than expected
You can do more while on the go with the iRig Micro Amp. The three analog channels with custom-voiced tones include clean, driving, and lead, with a maximum output of 15W RMS, which is far louder than expected. The true genius of this device is the ability to connect your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or PC to a high-quality iRig Micro Amp. In addition to the 9 amp and 10 stompbox variants seen in AmpliTube 4, the AmpliTube CS application for Mac/PC has 10 amp and 26 stompbox variations. You may also use all of your favorite apps and software because of their connectivity. Making your own music may be accomplished via songwriting, song learning, practicing favorite chords, and even recording. All of this may be simply packed in a little, lightweight carrying case. When you use the iRig Micro Amp, new ideas are never far away.
IK Multimedia iRig products were the most sought out products in every category—churches needing to stream, businesses, schools. You name the category, they had a solution for it.

Blackstar
Electric Guitar Mini Amplifier FLY3
A terrific choice
The only way to really appreciate their little size is to have your eyes peeled right up and personal with one. However, once you plug one in, you’ll see that it’s virtually the ideal practice amp. When it comes to portable practice amps, the Fly 3 is a terrific choice. It’s battery-powered, compact, and has enough capabilities to make it helpful. Blackstar’s ‘large’ amps are recognized for their Infinite Shape feature, which allows the user to modify the EQ of a given tone. We also found the tape delay effect to be a wonderful addition to our sound since it helped to make it more rounded. For practice, you may put two of them in stereo and enjoy the results.
I researched this for about a month through videos and I have purchased other mini amps before with much disappointment over the sound quality. Besides using this as a portable jam amp, I’m using this for lo-fi sound design with all of my mini synths, samplers, and drum machines[...]

An excellent choice for a beginner
The Marshall MG30GFX is an excellent choice for a beginner’s amp or a backup for your home practice setup. There are four channels that may be programmed, and digital effects like delay, flanger, and reverb are available on the Marshall MG30 30 watt. Despite its little size, this amp is made to last and won’t break the bank. The classic Marshall design of this black and gold variant is a nice bonus. If you don’t mike it up to the PA, this Marshall offering won’t drown out your drummer, but it will be a great addition to your home practice setup.
Great amp. Nice if you want to jam in the house or in back yard. Great amp for that classic Marshall sound, very happy with quality.

In addition to the 10 drum backing tracks, the app includes a wide variety of NUX and artist-provided jam tracks that may be played along with through Bluetooth, the phone’s speakers, or the amp’s aux-in port. Yamaha
THR30II Wireless Desktop Amp
There are a lot of tones here
Although the Yamaha THR30II may not seem to be a guitar amplifier, that is exactly what it is. Because of its ‘home-audio’ appearance, it may be placed anywhere in the house, making guitarists and non-guitarists alike delighted. The latter can even stream music via Bluetooth using the THR30II. Guitarists, on the other hand, are in for a treat, as this Yamaha offering is a serious piece of gear from one of the most renowned and inventive music-tech pioneers. There are a lot of tones here, with 15 amp tones provided by Yamaha’s Virtual Circuitry Modeling, reverb and delay effects, and genuine sounding onboard modulation. The THR30II also has a pair of 1/4″ line outputs, making it an excellent choice for home recording and an all-around versatile piece of kit. Yes, it’s not the most visually appealing amp in the world, but it more than makes up for it with what it can accomplish.
You don’t need a tube amp for amazing guitar tones! This little amp seriously packs a punch. The size of a lunchbox and super light, I have no problem bringing this thing to any of my friends houses to jam and the tones mimic hot tube amps with great feel. Seriously recommend this to anyone that plays guitar or bass!

Orange Amps
Electric Guitar Power Amplifier Crush12
The loudest 12 watts we've ever heard
The Orange Crush PiX CR12L is a great low-cost practice amp. The Crush PiX CR12L’s 3-band EQ, as well as Overdrive and Gain settings, make it simple to dial in your tone. The small Crush PiX CR12L weighs only a little over 12 pounds and has iconic Orange aesthetics, featuring Orange basket weave Tolex and a woven speaker grille. It features a 6″ speaker and maybe the loudest 12 watts we’ve ever heard. The Orange Crush PiX CR12L is an excellent practice amp, whether you’re a seasoned expert picker or just learning your first-position chords.
This amp I don't believe was designed to play in a live environment, but if you aren't planning on that this amp is a real gem. I have a full size tube amp that I use to play live but was not enjoying lugging it around to lessons or for practicing at home with a jam track. [...]

Positive Grid
Spark Guitar Amplifier
There are 40 effects to choose
Positive Grid’s BIAS Tone Engine modeling engine serves as its basis, allowing it to create a strong variety of amp models and cover all tone bases. There are 30 amp kinds and 40 effects to choose from, so it already punches beyond its weight in terms of desktop amp capabilities, but when combined with the accompanying software, the Spark gives a transformative experience. It could change your mind on guitar amplification. The Spark’s Smart Jam feature allows you to play some chords or a riff, and the amp will generate a backing track for you to perform to. Who needs friends? Auto Chord allows you to stream music from your mobile device to the Spark and it automatically transposes the chords so you can play along. As a learning and practice tool, it doesn’t get much better than this. There are outputs for recording and silent practice. Yes, it’s all digital, but it has an analog feel to it and, more importantly, it sounds great at low volumes. When you switch on the Spark, it’s dual 4″ speaker setup fills the space with an unnaturally three-dimensional sound.
This device is very good for jamming and it has a much better sound quality than the speaker that I have had. The only thing that I have not figured out is how to play in 6/8 beats. Everything is in 4/4.

Conclusion
The best way to get a feel for these amps is, as usual, to plug your guitar into them and play some music through them yourself. If all else fails, there are plenty of high-quality YouTube demonstrations to be found. At the end of the day, you need to be certain that you will be able to connect with a guitar amp, and there is only one method to determine which amplifier is “the one.”
