I compared to my son's $240 rangefinder and found virtually no difference.

great to have in your pocket. Works pretty well you have to have a steady hand from longer distances. great to have both the possibility to see the course and use the rangefinder all in one. Expensive toy but hey the toys get more expensive when you are older boys
