Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Just in case you wonder...
Are golf gloves necessary?
Our hands usually get sweaty. It is more difficult to keep your hold on the golf clubs when they are wet from perspiration or rain. This makes holding the club, much alone playing your shots, more difficult. Golf gloves are designed to address these difficulties. When the gloves become wet, they include features that allow them to keep their grip. Which, of course, is not present on our hands. This is why golf gloves are needed.
What is the best material for a golf rain glove?
You’ll note that the golf gloves on the market are made from a variety of materials. The suede palm seems to be the most popular since it dries quickly. Cabretta leather gloves take a long time to dry, which is why they are not as popular. Microfiber suede is a durable material. The suede withstands wear and tear well, and it is often less expensive than Cabretta leather.
How do you keep your golf gloves from becoming crusty?
Stretch your gloves out as they dry whenever they are damp and starting to dry. Don’t let them shrink. You can achieve this using stretchers. Another option is to stretch them until they are completely dry on a regular basis. You can also store the gloves in an airtight container. A sealed plastic pocket would suffice. I’d also recommend putting one of those moisture-absorbing gels in there as well.
What are the benefits of golf gloves for arthritis?
Golf gloves featuring infrared technology increase blood circulation, hasten healing, and alleviate symptoms of hand arthritis. You can select between heated golf gloves and infrared arthritis gloves. Heat treatment has been shown to be useful in decreasing pain, stiffness, and improving mobility.

FootJoy
WinterSof
Warm and windproof fleece
During chilly weather, a water-resistant micro-suede SureGrip Autosuede palm keeps hands dry and toasty while providing a pleasant feel, constant fit, and solid grip. It has a weather-shield stretch knit cuff with warm and windproof fleece to keep the cold out. Although not as good as the Rain Grip glove in terms of grip, it provides extra warmth and will undoubtedly be more useful in a shower than a typical leather glove.
I would have taken a video but the gloves are in my golf bag, they are as advertised, warm with good grip and the cuff helps keep out the cold on the sleeves of my jacket. A great winter golf glove, but you a pair and see for yourself.

Finger Ten
Winter Golf Gloves
It remains snug
The Finger Ten gloves come in pairs and are windproof and cold-proof. Each glove has a ball marker, which is a feature that many winter golf gloves lack. The cuff of the Finger Ten is a little different from that of other brands since it remains snug to the wrist. This will keep the warm air in your palm from leaving. The Finger Ten glove has a suede microfiber 3D design on the palm. This design will help you maintain a firm grip on the club regardless of the weather.
Best winter golf gloves I've ever owned. Nothing is worse for me during winter golf than cold & wet hands. These gloves really seem to be waterproof... and warm. So warm and dry... can't beat that.

Nike
Weather Winter Gloves
For wet conditions
Nike’s cold weather golf gloves are often more suited for wet conditions than they are for cold weather. Their slimmer shape and firm grip allow you to keep your hands on the game’s action (while you can still feel your hands). Since they are thinner and less warm than other cold-season golf gloves, they may be a perfect option for chilly and rainy weather instead of cold weather golf gloves. However, because of the increased price, this may be considered a luxury item.
Very good and they are so comfortable and you get so much grip with these on in the winter months so worth it

The brushed palm provides exceptional grip and a surprising amount of comfort for a cold glove. The closing tab works well and enables a more accurate fit.

Mizuno may not be as well-known as Callaway, Titleist, or Taylormade, but it is favored by numerous tour professionals. In 2018, the outfitter created RainFit golf gloves to ensure that a small bit of rain didn’t spoil a round. The gloves utilize Mizuno Clarino technology, which is a sophisticated Japanese synthetic suede that provides a sticky-like grip even in wet situations. A neoprene wristband was added to provide more comfort on the wrist when gripping the club.
I cannot wear winter gloves so I try those. They do quite well even in humid Northwest 35 degress. Expect a little less durability thank a regular glove but they keep you dry, relatively warm with a good grip (and hands don't stink after)
