This low-compression Wilson ball promises extraordinary distance thanks to a strong ionomer cover material that optimizes trajectory for maximum distance and roll – and it delivers on that promise. However, while being a low-compression ball in general, its mid-compression core adds a level of playability on the greens.

I've played 3 rounds with the same ball. Good distance and better than average around the greens. Wish they made this in Optic Yellow.

This is the first distance ball I’ve played that lives up to the claim. On several holes today I beat my distance PRs by 10 to 20 yards. These also have great feel around the greens. They are a fantastic value and the yellow color is easy to see in low light conditions.

The new Srixon Distance model has milder compression than the previous model. It maximizes distance by increasing starting velocity and increasing the launch angle for a penetrating ball flight. The number of dimples has also been reduced substantially (108 less), which Srixon claims would minimize drag and boost lift for improved performance in all wind situations. The tough cover is designed to be more cut-resistant.

Great for the price. I get good. distance and they're not bad at all around the green. Lovely looking ball too. I really can't complain for the price.

I was using the Bridgestone e6 ball, but decided to try the new e12 ball. The e12 seems to give me a little more distance and drives straight. I am an average golfer with a 20 handicap. I am 79 years old and need the extra distance provided by this ball.
