This gold nugget metal detector is intended to find small gold nuggets in a variety of environments, including shallow freshwater areas. It’s waterproof in freshwater lakes and streams to a maximum depth of 10 feet, so if you slip, you should be OK. While in All Metal Mode, it pushes out the upper kHz range, which is ideal for picking up gold signals. This means it searches to the greatest depths while maintaining a high level of sensitivity.

I have been metal detecting for 20+ years, but never spent over $200 on a machine. I have found good stuff with those machines but they always lacked in a few key areas. Such as Depth, ability to find small gold nuggets and the ability to get wet. This machine the Garrett AT Gold excels at all of these areas. I can now detect in the water, gold prospect and find targets deeper.. I am very happy with this machine.

You have a lot of options with this detector as it has 5 distinct working frequencies ranging from 5 kHz for deeper discoveries to 40 kHz for gold detection. You may operate in multi-frequency mode if you’re not looking for anything specific or just want to be sure you’re not missing anything underground. Finally, there’s a broad double-D-shaped coil with a lot of range for you to work with, as well as a protective coil cover.

This detector is the real deal! I almost purchased the AT Max and I'm really glad I went with this. Multi Frequencies and being able to update the software are great features. This is my first Minelab product and I'm very impressed with it's performance.

The Gold Bug Pro operates at a 19 kHz frequency. Above all other metals, such as a coin, it can identify a sliver of gold. This detector features a quick retune function and biaxial coils that locate gold above other metals. The coils are 5′′ DD circular closed coils that are waterproof. Furthermore, since this machine is just 2.5 pounds, you won’t get arm fatigue and give up inches from the jackpot.

I have used a Gold Bug II for 15 years and this detector works just as well. Only takes one 9 volt battery as well.

This is a cool metal detector and it comes with a foldable shovel and headset. I recommend you get this. It’s a lot of fun to use!

This is a low-maintenance metal detector that is simple to clean and requires little maintenance. It’s also waterproof to IP 68, so it’s ideal for metal detecting in rivers and at the beach.

I bought this to replace a more expensive detector that had stopped working.
To my surprise it actually performs as good or better than my high dollar one did.
I tried it out the day it was delivered and found 4 coins in my own back yard.

This metal detector was designed with the goal of finding treasure in hard ground conditions. This is an excellent metal detector to consider if you want one that isn’t too sensitive to minerals in the ground. Depending on the metal you’re looking for, choose between Motion All-Metal mode, Discrimination mode, or 2-Tone audio mode. This helps users be more specific during their expeditions.

This metal detector is great, especially for the low price. We bought it for my son for his 10th birthday and he’s having so much fun with it (his dad is too). It’s lightweight enough that he can use it for awhile without his arm getting too tired. It is very accurate and detects things well. It seems to detect pretty deep too. It’s got several different settings to customize how you search. It seems well made and like it should hold up well if we take good care of it. I would highly recommend this for anyone!
