Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Just in case you wonder...
Is it less expensive to make your own first aid kit?
Perhaps. However, some very specific or specialized products are included in the contents of a first aid kit. While assembling your own may be less expensive, it may not be practical owing to how difficult and time-consuming it may be.
Why should I get a first aid kit?
To treat minor injuries and respond to life-threatening emergencies, first aid kits should be prepared. These kits should be valued not just for addressing basic healthcare needs, but also for minimizing injuries until proper treatment is available.
Where should I keep a first aid kit?
According to the Mayo Clinic, first aid kits should be kept in both your house and personal car in order to properly react to accidents and emergencies. They should also be considered in circumstances where accidents might occur, such as hiking and camping.
How to shop for a first aid kit?
When selecting a first aid kit, consider who may rely on it (both in terms of the sheer number of people and the age and disposition of the user), where it will be kept and/or transported, and under what circumstances the potential users could sustain an accident or sickness. Any first aid box worth considering should include supplies for small cuts, punctures, burns, and other common injuries.

Coleman
All Purpose First Aid Kit
Best for budget
If you need to treat a complex fracture, you’ll most likely need a more comprehensive medical kit than this Coleman option. However, most of the time, the harm we sustain is in the form of small cuts and scrapes, burns and bites, and the rare puncture wound. The Coleman All Purpose Mini First Aid Kit is an excellent alternative for minor injuries. It’s so affordable that there’s simply no reason not to get one for your gym routine.
Purchased several of these for my EDC kits. Nice and compact. Will handle most common first aid issues.

M2 Basics’ First Aid Kit is the best overall. For starters, it’s quite inexpensive. It is not only affordable, but it also provides a lot of bang for your buck. There’s a lot for your accident needs in there. Because of this, the whole house is much better off having this in the house, particularly around the holidays. VSSL
First Aid Mini
Best design
The VSSL’s First Aid kit has 15 distinct products and 46 overall essentials in an aluminum carrying bag, including a torch, compass, a variety of bandages, adventure tape, and Steri-Strips, to mention a few. There are also antiseptic towelettes, medical face masks, and antibiotic creams. The whole contents of the kit fit inside a sleeve that folds up to fit within the tube. Plus, the whole thing is waterproof, so you can be certain that nothing will be destroyed if it is submerged in water.
We like the compact design and the components contained in the first aid kit and its striking red color makes it easy to find and accessible no matter where it is stored.
