We had this delivered to our home. My husband installed a drain/vent pipe combination underground based on some other users input. Assembly was straightforward using the upturned ring as a template for the first (base) circle of stones. After the third row was placed the ring (right side up) fitted perfectly. It looked great!!

Only downside was cleaning off the wet ashes (boys used water to put fire out) when we packed up. It was fine, but I suspect would have been easier if we had let it burn itself out so we had dry ashes to clean off before packing up. On my second use, I found a great hack - put a piece of heavy aluminum foil on the mesh bed. Less airflow so you won't burn up your wood so fast; easier to get a bed of coals. Also makes putting out fire with water and cleanup afterwards much easier. Satisfied customer.

This thing is awesome! Absolutely love it. Used it several times this year and now bought one for in laws who camp a lot. Folds up small like a camping chair. The air flow from underneath makes starting the fire easy as ever and burns almost completely gone by morning. I bought the heat shield as well. It works but is not necessary unless you are trying to preserve grass underneath or using it on a table. Wife likes the heat it puts off underneath so she can warm her feet.

Very, very happy with this purchase. This stove creates a fire in minutes. I use a cotton ball dipped in Vaseline to get it started with kindling. The way it’s made carries air through the appropriate vents to ignite and stay lit. We’ve even used it during a light drizzle and windy conditions and it still started up for me. You could use it at the beach. It’s not very big but a party of 8 can sit around it and roast things. I’ve even cooked chili with it for our hot dogs.

I really like campfires and fire pits but I recently moved to a place where I don’t have anywhere to use/store a fire pit or outdoor grill. This product works out perfectly. Easy to light, generated heat, doesn’t smell or get smokey, and extinguishing is easy. I think after the flame has gone out it’s best to remove the lid so that the wax can cool quickly so you can move/store it. Takes about 30-40 min for wax to re-harden. When you extinguish you don’t have to fully replace the lid, just cover to snuff out flame.

My goal was to have a portable non gas fueled fire pit. I wanted one that could be used for 30-60 minutes and did not have to have one babysit it for 2-3 hours. Wood pellets work best. If you follow instructions of starting with 2 inches of pellets you can get about 20-30 minutes of flame before you have to add more pellets if you want a longer flame time. The problem with loading more pellets is that if you reload too many they will smoke until they generate flame again. I found that loading about 4 inches of pellets makes the flame go for 60-70 mins before dying out, which meets my needs. I also found that the smaller size of duraflame log fits nicely inside the chamber and will burn for 60-90 mins. Overall I am quite pleased with this product.

The table is very sturdy (50 lbs) and well built. It's an excellent accent and also keeps anyone from accidentally touching the fire stove.
