Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is fire pit used for?
A fire pit may be utilized in the same way that a regular campfire can: whether you want to cook a barbecue, toast some marshmallows over an open fire, or just have a warm and comforting source of light that enables you to spend your evenings and nights outside for a change.
What do you put in the bottom of a fire pit?
Start with a layer of sand at the bottom of your fire pit and then layer on gravel, lava rocks, fire pit glass, paving stones, or even bricks on top of the sand to finish out the design. Dirt may also be used as a substitute for concrete.
Can you put a fire pit on grass?
Fire pits may be placed on top of the grass in an upright position. It is possible, however, that the grass may suffer substantial damage if the essential safeguards are not performed. A mat or other protective material should be put under the table to avoid damage.
Can fire pit get wet?
The answer is yes, they are sensitive to being soaked. However, moisture that accumulates within a propane fire pit may interfere with the operation of the gas burners, preventing the fire pit from lighting and causing corrosion to the equipment.

1.Ajna Living
Mansfield Fire Pit
Wood-like Fire Pit
A stainless steel burner ring and pan are included with the Modeno Mansfield fire column, which is made of glass-fiber reinforced concrete. Designed to be used with a liquid propane tank kept within the base underneath the fire feature. This fire pit has a wood-like design which provides you a natural feeling when you use it.
We had this delivered to our home. My husband installed a drain/vent pipe combination underground based on some other users input. Assembly was straightforward using the upturned ring as a template for the first (base) circle of stones. After the third row was placed the ring (right side up) fitted perfectly. It looked great!!

The dancing flame from this sturdy, well made lil fire pit is a beautiful conversation piece! I love it! It's simple, it uses alcohol, just pour a little in and and enjoy. Heavy with a small footprint.

3.FLÎKR Fire
The Original Isopropyl Alcohol Personal Fireplace
Alcohol Fueled Fire Pit
The wabi-sabi style is based on doing what it is supposed to do, tolerating cosmetic faults, and introducing natural materials and textures into your house. FLÎKR Fire was inspired by a need for a simple indoor fireplace that could run on clean-burning, low-cost, and easily accessible fuel, such as 70% or 91 percent isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Not simplistic, but simple. Years of meticulous refinement have resulted in materials that are in perfect harmony.
I LOVE this thing. It's mesmerizing watching the flame flicker. We have used it for toasting marshmallows outside and my 6 year old thinks it's the coolest thing (and now we don't have to wait for a campfire to make Smores.) I hope it lasts for a long time!

4.Inno Stage
Smokeless Fire Pit for Outdoor
Smokeless Fire Pit
The bowl form of this smokeless fire pit provides an airflow that sends the smoke straight up rather than into your face. This pit uses wood pellets and comes with a handy carrying bag so you can easily transport it from your garden to the campsite. This patio fire pit is simple to assemble, requiring just the assembly of two sections. Portable handles allow you to shake the ash to let air pass through. When it’s cool, it’s simple to pull it up and pour the ash into the bottom underlying tray.
Just set it and and got it aflame a few minutes ago. Puts out a lot of heat and has a nice vertical flame and zero smoke. Very cool to look at and seems well made. It's been burning about 20 minutes on a set of pellets 2" deep so far and is starting to slow down but it's still hot. Instructions have no info about how to light it though, just what not to do. I'll ask in the questions but I'm pretty happy so far.

5.AMAGABELI GARDEN & HOME
Fire Pit Outdoor Cast Iron Wood
Durable Fire Pit
You’ve come to the right place if you’re searching for a traditional fire pit with no frills. The Amagabeli is made of heavy-duty cast iron for durability and rust resistance, ensuring that you may enjoy your fire pit for many years to come. It takes just five minutes to put together, and the built-in handles make it simple to transport your pit from one location to another. This fire pit runs on wood—just throw some logs or pellets on the fire for immediate warmth.
This is a wonderful little firepit. It is easy to assemble. Easy to move around. And does not feel flimsy. Actually, the quality feels very good. And the price cannot be beat. I am super happy with this firepit and am getting ready for many happy hours by the fireside. The little hole at the bottom of the pit is very practical.

6.Giantex
Gas Fire Pit
Simple Ignition Fire Pit
With this choice, you’ll have a tabletop and a toasty fire pit in one. With a 40,000 BTU output, it generates a lot of heat. Inside, lava rocks help maintain a consistent flame while also retaining heat for added comfort. A nearly 10-foot propane hose keeps your tank out of the path of the fire, and a one-step ignition button makes it simple to start. You may alter the fire’s intensity based on your demands using an adjustable knob. The outside of a stimulated rock structure is sturdy and durable enough to withstand the weather. When you’re done using the pit, just cover it with the supplied cover.
I LOVE this thing. Whether roasting marshmallows or warming up, it’s awesome. I almost didn’t buy it because it looked fake and cheap in the pictures. I attached a picture of it in its “natural habitat”. The green doesn’t stand out nearly as much as I thought it would. The quality is great. You might want to get some extra lava rocks. They provide just enough and if you lose even one or two, you’ll want more.

7.Terra Flame
Tabletop Fire Bowls
Portable Bowl Fire Pit
Do you need a little fire pit that you can put almost anywhere? It’s the Terra Flame Fire Bowl. This movable pit is housed in a rustic-looking concrete basin that also serves as a decorative element. It may be used as a miniature fireplace for toasting s’mores or as a show-stopping centerpiece when eating al fresco. The bowl is fuelled by Terra Flame Gel Fuel 13-ounce cans with a three-hour burn period per can. The bowl does not become hot, so you can simply transfer it after you’re finished.
I absolutely love my fire bowl!!! It is perfect and just what I wanted. It comes with 3 cans of fuel and I immediately ordered more because I knew I would always need to keep some on hand. If you decide to call it a night you can just put the lid back on the can and light again when you want it. One can goes a few hours. I love it so much I have already bought two as gifts.

8.TIKI
Stainless Steel Low Smoke Fire Pit
Weatherproof Fire Pit
The Tiki Brand Fire Pit is a crowd-pleaser for a reason: it provides a lot of firepower at a mid-range price. This product is constructed of 16-gauge stainless steel with a weatherproof powder coating for a long-lasting finish. The sleek fire pit also has a sophisticated internal airflow system that produces a more efficient fire with less smoke and ash than the competitors. This fire pit works with conventional firewood, making it portable, or you can use the brand’s wood pack for an instant-light fire that lasts 30 minutes each pack.
I did so much research before buying a fire pit. Initially, I wanted a gas fire pit, but my friends who had them said they weren't so great, plus expensive fire pits didn't seem too durable over time. My backyard is slightly modern or mid-century in style, and so I wanted something that would fit in well. Once I decided to go with a wood-burning fire pit, I found the Tiki and was blown away by how good it looked. Plus, I was excited about the promise of low smoke and the option of using the bags for a one-hour fire instead of lighting logs and burning them all night. The Tiki has really delivered on all of the above--I've had it for about 4 months and have had maybe a dozen fires. I am really, really pleased with it. It is easy to use, maintain, clean, etc.

9.Solo Stove
Yukon with Stand Fire Pit Combo
Sturdy Lightweight Fire Pit
The Solo Stove Yukon has devoted followers for a variety of reasons, but one of the most appealing is its ability to burn wood without producing smoke. This sturdy fire pit is lighter in weight than it seems, at just 38 pounds. To keep smoke out of your face, a double-walled design creates a rush of hot air over the fire. It’s also suitable for use on a wooden deck. It also burns efficiently, producing just little bits of ash that may be readily emptied when you’re through. Simply place a few logs in the stove, ignite them, and enjoy. Just a heads up: this fire pit can produce a lot of heat, so you may want to keep your distance.
So far, we have nothing to dislike about our wood burning heater. We used it last weekend when it was a bit cold and we wanted to celebrate our grandson't birthday after not being with him or his family for over a year. We were able to put our "fire pit" on the middles of our wooden deck; we put a grill mat under it to feel really safe and gathered chairs at a safe distance from each other and the fire pit, wrapped up in blankets and had a wonderful evening. And we didn't break any Covid rules!

We love this fire pit! We bought it for use with our motorhome and I changed out the hose with a 25 footer along with a quick connect to our large onboard propane tank. I couldn’t be happier. It puts out a lot of heat. Keep in mind, you can get about 6 people around this thing but that’s about it. We don’t need any more than that so it’s perfect for my wife and I.
