This electric kettle is great! I love how clean and sleek it looks on my countertop. It's smaller than I expected but that wasn't a deal breaker. The water comes to a boil quickly and even though there isn't a whistle to alert you, I've learned to gauge how hot I want it and it's "just right." Love this kettle!

I LOVE the look of this kettle. I bought it and I was well awared of the presence of some plastic parts inside and touching the boiling water. I know the struggle to find a 100% plastic free electric kettle AND a good looking one, so I took my dremel and removed/grinded all the plastic parts inside. After this 10mins operation, I’m really 110% happy with my purchase. Works great, boils fast, no plastic touching the water. Cool vintage look. Will recommend.

This boiler really improved my life a lot. I’m a mother of a baby and I just didn’t have time to keep boiling water. I like how I can set the timer the night before and wake up to fully boiled water. When I’m out, I can use the vacuum function to keep my water warm without using electricity. I grew up with this brand and it’s probably the only brand I would go to for water boilers. These boilers last at least 10 years+. I would get only made in Japan so you know the quality is there. There is a spinner on the bottom, and the cord detaches very easily. The 4L is big enough for an avid tea or hot water drinker. 5L would be too big. The unit is light enough and there’s a handle to easily carry the unit around the kitchen.

I found this kettle while replacing my counter top toaster oven. I have a collection of more than 40 vintage coffee pots displayed around my kitchen and so I could not resist. It is wonderful! We use the fast heat option (less water) quite frequently for one or two cups. The temp gauge on the front allows you to pull it off the base a bit early if boiling is not your goal.
