The Surfprep 6″ ‘brushless’ electric sander is the industry’s smallest, most user-friendly, powerful, and energy-efficient random orbital sander. It’s featherweight at just 2.5 pounds. Ive used festool sanders before and admittedly they're better but theyre 4 times the cost. The festool is NOT 4 times better than this makita, its not even twice as good. Its just a little better, a little smaller and light and a little smoother. Thats it. Don't waste your money on a snader the price of a table saw, thia makota works great

We have a Wood shop and do a lot of sanding. We previously purchased a dewalt sander and liked it so much we bought this one so we have two. The sander itself works great. Pretty light and easy to use. Dust collection works well.

Use it on all my projects. My hubby's bigger sander killed my hands. This is so small and a nice weight. I follow directions and empty the waste container every 10 seconds. I hope it lasts a long time. I bought the manufacturer sandpaper, since others said it would be hard to find paper that fit properly.

This beast is all there! Feels very solid. It’s variable speed drive! Will test it on my 71’ C10 Chevrolet restore!!! I’m anxious to try it. Comes with an extra set of brushes so I’m hoping they just did that so you’ll have the extra and not because they’re eating up the brushes!! So far so good

The RS290G is a straightforward and reliable sander. The dust gathering capabilities of this sander are superb. This Ryobi sands quickly and effectively, finishing its test areas in around the same amount of time as its rivals. This product is highly expensive in terms of the quality of the sanded surface it provides. This product can polish metal as well as wood.

I just love the sander. It does everything that I needed to do. If you need to do low cut type Sanding this is not for you. But if you need to do a pretty good job like I used it on my patio deck and it was awesome. I just left it did a great job

The Bosch is the most comfortable corded sander, sands quickly, and collects the most dust. Because of the excellent dust management (thanks to a rubber O-ring seal on the dust port, adequate ventilation, and an airtight dust canister), less dust remains on the surface to grind into the abrasive pad. As a result, the pad remains clean for longer. Its speed control dial is hidden beneath the handle; it’s easy to reach, but it’s easy to knock it out of place. It left a very excellent sanded surface.

I love this tool. When I found out that there’s a palm sander with an adjustable speed, I looked for it right away on Amazon and found this unit. I used it all day yesterday as we were re-staining the deck and replaced the hand rails. My wrists were fine unlike that time when I used my husband’s palm sander (not sure what brand it is). I highly recommend it.
