Surfprep’s 6″ ‘brushless’ electric sander is the smallest, most user-friendly, powerful, and energy-efficient random orbital sander in the business. At just 2.5 pounds, it’s a featherweight. The Ray attaches to a normal electrical outlet, allowing operators to sand ‘on-site.’ The tool has a built-in power source with a ‘direct wire’ design that makes setup and operation easier. These tools have 3/16″ and 3/32″ orbit diameters, respectively. To provide a clean working environment, a central vacuum system is provided. Ray was in a league of his own due to his incredible speed and power!

The six changeable speed settings on this 3.1-pound Jellas random orbital sander are readily switched between utilizing a simple speed dial. The 2.5-amp motor can drive the sanding disc up to 13,000 OPM, but the sander may also be adjusted to a lesser speed of 8,000 OPM. It includes an integrated dust collection system with internal fans to assist suck in particles and a removable dust collecting container that is simple to empty when full. The corded random orbital sander comes with 18 replacement discs in a variety of grits and a 5-inch sanding disc pad. Woodworkers may work for extended periods of time without having to stop due to hand cramping or strain thanks to a rubberized palm grip design that decreases vibration and muscle fatigue.

I have never used a round sander before. This one did a good job. Easy to use and the sanding disks stayed in place. They just stick on to the disk. My experience with a drill and screwing the sanding disks on almost always ended with the sanding disk getting ripped off. So this was a pleasure.

Works well in removing paint with little effort. Just as the instructions state you do not need to use pressure while sanding. Like the velcro type pad for disc attachments

A decent random orbital sander should be simple to use and capable of quickly covering huge regions. Makita has come through with this random orbit sander with a ball-bearing structure if you’re looking for these traits in a finishing sander. This 12,000 OPM finishing sander is simple to use and operate thanks to its rubber grip, sandpaper pad control mechanism, and minimal vibration. With a random orbital diameter of 1/8-inch, you can effectively cover enormous regions. This purchase also includes a protective case for the sander, which keeps it secure while not in use and makes it simple to store and travel.

Excellent smooth sanding and good dust suction. Ive use the BO5010 for years a similar sander but called a palm sander. This sander is very similar but heavier and taller. Probably too tall to be called a palm sander but just as easy to use either holding with the knob at the top or griping the handle.

Great sander for the price. I bought this to do a small remodeling bathroom project. I have used it several other times for other projects & I am still very happy with my purchase. I use the sandpaper refills Amazon suggests & I have no complaints. This sander is just as good as more expensive ones I have used as well! Definitely worth the money!

I needed to sand don about a 1/16 of an inch for some shelving in my gerbil enclosures. This did a great job. It was a little dusty, but it did collect a lot of it. The sand paper was not all that expensive and was easy to replace. It was of better quality than the cheap knock offs.

I bought this to sand a 75 year old wood floor - it was only 9x12 room, otherwise, I would have rented a stand up. I’m glad I did. It worked great and the little dust bag holds much more than the other one I had… and also stays on much better. It’s super fast, too.

The DeWALT cordless random orbit sander eliminates the inconveniences of corded sanders: wires get in the way, you have to detach and replug to reach certain areas, and you nearly always have to take out the extension cable. Users may now work on their projects without having to wait for a lengthy wire to connect. Sanding on the go is made easier with the tool’s supplied toolbag. It is strongly recommended that you purchase an extra battery and replace it as needed.

Got really lucky and caught it on sale (the price went back up a couple of days later) so the battery and charger were basically free, it’s very easy to use and works great now I just have to learn to be a little more gentle so I won’t remove more wood than what’s necessary ( my first orbital sander). The battery life is good for a 2amp, if it becomes an issue I’ll get a 4amp battery but so far so good.

Despite the fact that the Enertwist mouse detail sander is inexpensive, it does not skimp on quality or quantity. You get everything you need to do a decent sanding job for roughly $30, including sandpaper, a detail finger attachment, and a cleaning pad, to mention a few. The sander itself is particularly excellent, with buyers praising its power and quality. With its mouse-head design and sanding tool finger attachment, this tool is ideal for corners and other hard-to-reach areas. It’s also exceptionally lightweight, at just under two pounds, so you won’t have any user fatigue.

I Initially used this for sanding down a small section of a door jam (it worked effectively). I plan to use it for smaller (craft/hobby type) projects going forward. It came with several sanding pads and I only need one for the job. Of course, I’ll need additional pads in the future. It is very lightweight and easy to use. The sanding pads attached by hook & loop so you just stick it on (it did NOT move or come unattached during sanding) and peel it off...simple.
