The Omen-8 is Schecter’s most economical eight-string, with a very playable maple neck and 24-fret rosewood fretboard, making it ideal for eight-string beginners. With a scale length of 26.5 inches – an inch longer than a Stratocaster – you’ll notice the instrument has more string tension, which should improve string tuning stability. The longer neck isn’t as apparent as you may think, and it isn’t as thick as you might think. It’s actually a lot of fun to play.

The first thing you’ll notice about the ESP LTD EC-256 is its resemblance to Les Paul guitars. It has a single-cutaway design with a solid mahogany body and a flamed maple top that comes in three colors. Moreover, the fretboard features 22 extra-jumbo frets for excellent string bending. The JS22-Jackson 7’s pickups are well-balanced. The arched top is coated in a deep Gothic black with a matte lacquer and the body is built of solid poplar. Additionally, the double-cutaway body form is elegant and enables you easy access to the fretboard’s highest frets. Jackson created two passive high-output humbuckers for 7-string guitars. A three-way selector switch, master volume, and tone control are used to adjust the tonal variations.

Since the nut and bridge are both attached to the same piece of wood, the sustain on the ESP LTD KH-602 Signature Series is increased at the same time. This will undoubtedly enhance reverberation, but not to the point that a bolt-on will be inferior. The usage of an EMG 81/60 pickup set rather than the standard 81/85 pickup configuration in Kirk Hammett’s trademark guitars is one of the coolest aspects.

"Finish appears flawless and is beautiful. The neck was perfect. Frets were polished as if this was a premium guitar. Fret end treatment was smooth, properly rounded and polished. Bridge was set up perfectly (tytyty). The EMG Bone Breaker pickups sound great. Pickup height was set up properly."

This Schecter will surprise you with how much you receive at such a reasonable price. The neck-to-body contact is well carved, and access to the top frets is fantastic. When you pluck a string on the guitar, you will feel the body vibrate as well. You can hear how fantastic the instrument is when hooked into a good amp and some good effects. You’ll receive a polished, saturated tone that works well with harder riffs or traditional metal. You’ll get the nasty tone you need if you even want to perform blues.

If you’re a fan of the Epiphone SG, the SG Special is unquestionably the guitar for you. The guitar’s most notable feature was its loud tone, which is why the majority of people would purchase it. In heavy rock and metal, it can truly hold its own. Furthermore, the Epiphone SG Special is built of alder and boasts the well-known double-cutaway, which is the guitar’s key aesthetic characteristic.

The new EVH Wolfgang WG Standard, VH’s most economical Wolfgang guitar yet, was recently released. There’s a lot of power, tone, and sustain on this instrument. Single notes are well defined, and chords appear to pop off the page. You can easily solo on it, and playing chords is so fluid that it seems like you’re playing a high-end instrument. The EVH Wolfgang WG Standard also comes with a basswood body and a quilted maple top. Gloss polyurethane is used for the finish. The double-cutaway body design allows for easier access to the highest frets.

"Great guitar for the money. Super fun to play. The pickups are red hot and it's easy to get EVH tone (harmonics, etc) out of this guitar. The neck is just incredible for shredding."

The Genesis Collection RG550 guitar from Ibanez offers a lot of intriguing features. Basswood is used for the body, which creates a warm, rumbling tone with well-defined mids. The Rhoads is also a capable player. Low motion is a breeze thanks to the tune-o-Matic bridge, and the smooth neck finish has a waxy feel that makes speeding up and down a breeze. The main issue is figuring out how to play it while seated. It necessitates placing the short lower horn between your thighs, supporting your body on your left leg, and assuming a traditional playing stance. However, they sound much brighter to our ears, with lots of snap and presence, and provide enough clarity to handle distorted playing in any style.
