I was pretty sceptical about this cooler, but the Knox Electric Cooler is an absolute must if you're an RV'er or need to keep food cold (or hot). It worked perfectly for us on a 6 day RV trip. The best way to use the cooler is to plug it in the night before you plan to use it. The temp keep a steady 38 degrees. We plugged the cooler into the cigarette lighter outlet while on the road. It even kept some items frozen. This is by far the best investment we've made for our RV.
