Tablets are a smart alternative for new readers or those who want a device that can access various applications. The widescreen with adjustable brightness levels is easy on the eyes, and easy operation makes it suitable for senior readers. It is also equipped with Alexa which can help users do various things by voice.

It seems to be faster to me. I search things myself instead of asking Alexa. I really like this Kindle HD and there is a lot to learn and since I am a Senior Citizen, I enjoy the ease of it.

I read daily and this Kindle is wonderful. Even though I'm not the most "tech" savy senior, I am loving it. I like not needing to have a light on to read in bed. I usually read myself to sleep and it's so easy to just close the kindle and nod off. I like being able to take it with me to appointments, etc.

Browsing any e-books needed or accessing a Kindle account is as easy as ABC. Since this is a tablet, senior users can use it as a replacement for a cellphone without the need to carry two different devices.

Work great for what I need, mostly for kindle reading. Love it had to order another for my mom

Moreover, the device provides the perfect light no matter where you are. No need to turn on the lights and wake the whole house if you want to read in the middle of the night.

Love the adjustable light levels. I don’t need lamps to read by and I can increase print size as my eyes tire. I spend hours reading for work and pleasure. I don’t know why I waited so long your get this. Also I can get books from my public library here in Canada. Kindles can’t!

I am really enjoying my new Kindle Oasis. Being able to control the light quality and to read in all kinds of outdoor situations makes it the best. I am a senior and old eyes are much more challenged by reading typical digital screens. I also enjoy how light it is even with a leather cover. I can read in pitch dark and in sunshine without straining my eyes. I still use my Kindle Fire as back up just in case I run out the battery but I haven't yet. Battery life when off wifi is really long. Best idea in a while.

This was my first ereader and I'm super happy with it! Great for reading at the beach in really bright conditions but also easy on the eyes for bedtime reading. I love how small and light it is, so you can hold it with one hand easily and not feel like it's too heavy to hold for a long time. I got caught in a quick rainstorm while reading on the beach and I wasn't worried at all because it's waterproof. Great buy and I'm so glad I bought it.

The battery life is sufficiently ok. So easy to navigate through different things. The screen is crisp and design is great. Good buy for a seasoned reader.

Great product with a big beautiful screen. White during the day but nice orangy colour in the evening thats easy on late night eyes. Remarkably light and comfortable to hold for hours. Integration with overdrive is slick and enables very simple borrowing of the latest books for free from the public library. Only concern is that it is so light it seems fragile so I am ordering a case for travel
