This was one of the best purchases I have ever made. I really hesitated for a LONG time getting a kindle because I prefer the feel of “real” books in my hands. However, after being talked into it by a friend, I bit the bullet and bought this one. I am in love with it. I can read at night without a light on and having to disturb the husband. It is small enough I can take it anywhere and just whip it out and start reading. I don’t have to worry about a book mark since it saves right where you left off. I can have books to read in an instant by downloading from Amazon. Great price and great investment!

I have upgraded to this model after having one of the original models for many years. I love my Kobo Clara it is great for reading outside when it is sunny and then curling up in bed in the dark to read before sleep. I am dyslexic and having a small single page makes it easier for me to read and love that it is small and light and I can carry it everywhere. Great value for money...

I love my new kindle oasis,,the product in itself has been a lifesaver for me. I am severely arthritic and holding on to a book or even a paperback is impossible.. one of the joys of my life is reading so I bought a kindle when they first came out. I’ve had a couple of them and the Oasis is my favorite, it’s small and thin to carry in my purse and weighs very little so holding in my hands is comfortable and easy. I also read a lot at night and being able to adjust the lighting through the intensity and warm of the lighting is so nice.i love this product!

Although I have wanted to purchase a new e-reader, I cannot imagine a better one than the dx. I love the size of the screen as well as it's ease on the eyes. I would love a back light, but I do not mid using a light for night reading. I am hooked solely on the fact that I can download a book anywhere. I cannot tell you how many times I have been in an airport or restaurant or travel and have finished a book. It is so convenient to be able to download a book and to read it within minutes. The kindle fires look nice for a tablet, but for reading books, I do not think I will ever get rid of my dx.
