Kids absolutely love it. And I love the price of mind having a free two year replacement plan and one year free Amazon freetime. There is tons of stuff for the kids to do. Battery life is really good my kid constantly watches videos and reading books. She hasn't had it die on her yet. Seems very durable with the big soft case it's in. I would recommend expanding storage space with a card cause the little ones will fill up the memory fast.

Fire HD 8 is an upgraded version of Fire 7. The difference is in a larger storage capacity, a wider screen, and longer battery life. You have to put this in mind: this is not a toy. It really works like your device. Don’t worry about your child being exposed to unwanted content because it requires strict parental controls. The vivid and cute case colors make children happy to play it.

I bought 2 of these for both my sons. My youngest had a galaxy tab as a hand me down and it will no longer charge, Needed a table that was not going to be super expensive and also kid friendly. This is the best of both worlds. My son loves it and so do I. The case really does protect it, it has been dropped so many times and no damage has occurred. I also use it to read my kindle books. This was a worthy purchase. I definitely reccommend it.

It is also equipped with a page-turning button which means you can read faster single-handedly. The effortless navigation makes it easy to operate even by children.

I got the nook glowlight 3 from Barnes and noble I was pleasantly surprised that the workers were so helpful. It was very nice to find out it came with free books on it. Mine had The Secret Garden and A Tale of Two Cities. With the nook you can adjust the brightness of the color you can make it redder or more white on the screen and there are many cases you can buy for it and finally you can buy any book that doesn't have pictures so maybe if your kid wants this. Make sure they like long pictureless books.
