When it comes to video, it can take 4K footage without cropping. You may also transmit files wirelessly using Bluetooth or WiFi. The controls are extremely straightforward, particularly when combined with the touchscreen LCD. Given these specifications, it is a strong candidate for the best camera for astrophotography.

Last EOS was Rebel XL, obviously, great leap forward. Short time using this camera, but pictures are sharp, crisp and easy. Manual settings are a breeze, automated settings are great. Learning this camera has been very easy, intuitive and natural.

The Pentax K-70 is another DSLR that many photographers, especially dedicated enthusiasts, neglect. A 24 MP APS C AA filter-less CMOS sensor with an ISO range of 100 to 204800 is included. It’s a weatherproof camera with a shaking reduction function that’ll come in useful if you’re doing astrophotography in inclement weather. It can also transfer files through WiFi and an app.

Finally a camera that can take the high level of quality pictures I have been looking for. Having formerly owned only smaller pocket cameras that never seem to do justice to outdoor scenery, the K-70 camera works both well as as a point and shoot or multi function manual camera. All in a weather proof package.

The Pentax KP has a good 24MP APS-C picture sensor and a 27-point autofocus system. It also boasts a weather-sealed construction, making it suitable for use outside if you are the sort that deals with inclement weather while astrophotography. If you’re thinking about taking up astrophotography as a pastime, this is a camera that won’t let you down.

I purchased the KP as an upgrade from my Pentax K-r and boy does it deliver! I'm especially impressed with it's low light capabilities. In addition it just feels good in the hand and is easy to use.

From a design aspect, Nikon’s DSLR is rather straightforward. This camera has a resolution of 20.9 megapixels. It makes use of a special DX-format sensor that was designed specifically for clarity. The sensor boasts a wide dynamic range and a good ISO range, making it easy to frame your photo. There’s also a tilting LCD screen to help you line up your shot.

I saw some reviews about need of buying tutorial books to best use this camera. But trust me you don’t need it. All you need is a 20-30 min YouTube video which you can find plenty and you are all set. Best camera I bought so far !

For astrophotography, this model works with a variety of wide-angle lenses.

This is a replacement for my wifes 7D Mark I camera that ended up with an error 30. Worked perfectly as soon as we got it. The Mark II has different settings and menu options so she is having to relearn where everything is. But I used it for a night and it makes you feel like a professional photographer.

I love the photos that I have been able to capture with this camera.

The Nikon D750 is a DSLR with a full-frame sensor. It boasts a 24.3-megapixel sensor, a tilting touchscreen (which, like the lighted buttons, comes in handy for capturing the night sky), and an ISO range of 51,200. This camera offers the greatest value for money for astrophotography since both operate very well for this purpose and can be purchased for a reasonable price.

Arrived brand new and in pristine condition. There wasn't even a scratch on the box. The D750 functions flawlessly. Excellent low light performance, focusing on subjects in the extremely dark conditions. Paired it with the new Tamron 70-200mm SP G2, with which it works brilliantly.

The Nikon D700 is an older model that is still a good value for money for people searching for a dependable camera that won’t break the bank. There’s a lot to like about this camera as an astrophotography camera, such as its normal ISO range of 200-6400 and the possibility to go up to 100-26600. High ISO raises the sensitivity of the camera, allowing you to capture more detail. It offers vignette control to lessen the shading effect that certain optics may cause at the frame’s edge. It contains an intervalometer, which allows you to configure the camera to automatically take a series of exposures. It’s ideal for shooting a time-lapse of the sky or photographing meteor showers because of this.

Still my go to camera. Produces the best images to date in my opinion. Micro-contrast is what separates this from all others. You normally have to spend thousands of dollars to achieve similar results with any other camera. Neither the D810,D800, nor 750 can reproduce this. I don't understand why more people don't buy these up. I'm keeping mine forever!

The Nikon D850 DSLR is a beast of a camera. The D850 can record very high-resolution still photographs with incredible detail while keeping noise to a minimum. It contains two SD and XQD/CF Express card slots to ensure that all of that fantastic detail is recorded rapidly. It is much heavier, larger, and thicker than Astro-specific cameras or mirrorless competitors, but it will endure for many years because of its tough build and superb weather sealing.

What a fantastic camera !! I've wanted one for quite a while, and have previously been a Canon guy.....that said, this camera has some wonderful features and very high resolution, large sensor. I'm looking forward to years of great photography with this camera. Thank you for offering this camera at a very competitive price, with a nice package as well.
