It has a 120-degree wide-angle 720p HD camera that has good altitude hold stability for extended shots and quality photographs and video. Other features include three speeds, one-button takeoff and landing, headless mode, and smartphone compatibility.

12 year old Grandson loves it. He set it up and figured out how to operate it very quickly, Younger brother and friend have been all playing with it.

Bought this just to try out as a beginner. Controlling the drone is not too complicated but does take some times to get used to. It is light and the camera works fine. I will say it is worth its price.

This multi-rotor drone is far less expensive than other versions and weighs just 80 grams, making it simple to transport wherever you go. However, the reduced price comes with certain trade-offs: the camera and video quality are somewhat worse, and the Ryze has a maximum flying length of 13 minutes.

Amazing drone for beginners. I strongly recommend getting the game controller with it. Makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Just be sure to check wind conditions as this little guy can’t fight against strong winds very well.

This is a fun drone and with the added APP available it makes it even more fun. A great place for the gopro camera. Smooth to operate and take off and landing is smooth. Battery life seems to be as advertised. Customer Service is excellent, I had a small problem and had no problem getting a resolution. I highly recommend.

The HS is a strong but tiny folding drone that isn’t designed to provide professional video quality but does provide your choice of camera angle, as well as GPS-enhanced capabilities like circling a location of interest or automated return to home (which it can even do if it loses connection). It’s not only tiny enough to play with inside, but it also has an ‘optical flow’ sensor – a visual-light sensor that looks downward and can maintain a consistent hover even when GPS is blocked by a roof.

My wife purchased this drone for me, as a beginner, to see if I would enjoy flying it. The drone is very easy to learn to fly and I have enjoyed learning to fly it. I have reached out to Holystone support a couple of times and they are incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

Piloting a drone with goggles that provide a virtual cockpit experience is beneficial for a variety of sub-styles like racing, stunts, and the cinewhoop. As a novice, the world may be perplexing; you’ll need a classic radio controller, goggles (typically analog), and you’ll probably want to construct your own drone before learning about motor kinds and manual battery charging. We were also pleased to see the inclusion of a beginner-friendly altitude hold (hover & auto-land) sensor, which is uncommon in tiny hobbyist drones.

Great beginner set. Everything you need at an affordable price. The goggles and controller can be used with other drones so that you can gradually work yourself up to better equipment. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking to try out FPV for the first time.
