The DJI Mini 2 has now replaced this model, but this ultra-compact drone will continue to be available – which is great news for anybody looking for a little more cheap palm-sized drone with amazing video quality. The Mavic Mini lacks raw picture capturing, Ocusync 2.0 communication (for greater range), and several new motors when compared to its newer sister, but it is still quite competitive and still outperforms any other drone in its weight category.

I bought this Drone Amazon renewed and I absolutely love it. It came in the original DJI box with all connections. This thing looks new. DJI drones are super simple to learn and fly. Camera gimbal works perfectly. I would definitely recommend buying Amazon renewed

He was flying the drone same day he took it out of the box. He is 10. However, he probably had some good mentoring.

If you have the cash, this huge drone, fittingly dubbed the “Yellow Hornet” due to its design, can achieve a maximum flying range of 492 feet and a flight duration of 30 minutes. It has a 120-degree wide-angle 720p HD camera that has good altitude hold stability for extended shots and quality photographs and video. Other features include three speeds, one-button takeoff and landing, headless mode, and smartphone compatibility.

12 year old Grandson loves it. He set it up and figured out how to operate it very quickly, Younger brother and friend have been all playing with it.

The DJI Mini SE is DJI’s most affordable drone, making it ideal for novices. Customers who are unsure about learning to fly and capture video at the same time may use the automatic QuickShots, which produce multiple spectacular circling or other dramatic swooping images while maintaining your subject in the frame. The DJI Mini SE uses its intelligence to do this from the main camera rather than packing any extra scanners, which likely helps even this entry-level model achieve 30 minutes of flight time.

First drone and I have to say that the set up was quick and easy. In 5 minute I had the app and was flying the drone. Quick note, although the app is available in Apple App Store, it is not on Goggle Play Store, so make sure of using the QR code to download the app if you have an android phone.

This amazing drone for beginners teaches not just the flying experience, but also the fundamental feature set of a professional photography or videography drone for a fraction of the cost. This is due to the fact that it has a GPS location system and is controlled through a high-quality phone app (a phone will clip into the radio controller and serve as a screen). This enables higher-end functions such as ‘follow me’ (the drone will track the position of the phone) while also making the drone simple to operate.

Love this drone! Very easy for a beginner to fly but still fairly sophisticated for it's price range. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to get into flying.

The HS is a strong but tiny folding drone that isn’t designed to provide professional video quality but does provide your choice of camera angle, as well as GPS-enhanced capabilities like circling a location of interest or automated return to home (which it can even do if it loses connection). It’s not only tiny enough to play with inside, but it also has an ‘optical flow’ sensor – a visual-light sensor that looks downward and can maintain a consistent hover even when GPS is blocked by a roof.

My wife purchased this drone for me, as a beginner, to see if I would enjoy flying it. The drone is very easy to learn to fly and I have enjoyed learning to fly it. I have reached out to Holystone support a couple of times and they are incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

Simply create a route on the App screen, set a maximum of 16 points on the map, and the drone will follow and fly along with the indicated waypoints.

After purchasing and returning several incapable drones I found this one. Just took it out today to fly in about a 10 mph wind and this thing performed fantastically. Held its position despite the strong winds. I highly recommend this model to anyone wanting to get into the hobby.

The Parrot Bebop 2 is a mid-range drone that isn’t too expensive but packs a lot of functionality for the money. The camera features a fisheye lens, and stabilization software removes the need for a suspension; this, along with a clever chassis design that employs rubber dampers to decrease vibration in-flight, results in almost no jitter while filming videos. This drone contains a plethora of sensors that allow it to stabilize in the air under high winds.

This has been an awesome drone. It does take practice and I have crashed numerous time. Parts are easily available and easy to replace. Battery depends on how you fly it. Normal mode 30 min. Sport type mode with adjusting settings around 15 min. This things can be fast and dangerous. All around I would definitely buy again!!

This drone is outfitted with a Sony RPSC APS-C camera on a three-axis gimbal. Wi-Fi is used to link the aircraft. As a controller, a tablet, such as an iPad mini, is hooked to the holder. In windy situations, this drone is quite stable, and it contains sensors that will ground it if heavy gusts blow. Wi-Fi is also used to connect to the tablet. To fly, just hit the app’s button or the controller’s “FLY” button.

Love my SOLO. I wouldn't say it was for beginners. This bird is not cheap. Easy to fly and the things it can do will astonish. I wish it had obstacle avoidance.
