Pretty much suitable for small to big dogs.

Worked great from the beginning. But after about 4 weeks the batteries on the collars died. I reached out to Petspy and they quickly sent complete collar replacements free of charge.

The collar is a gentle reminder and brings him back into order. Would purchase again!!

Rechargeable so no more expensive batteries that only last a few uses. Range is pretty good. Functions are all there for a multitude of training and obedience reinforcement. I always test shock functions of devices like this on my forearm to gauge the strength and this collar is no damn joke. This would stop a raging bull set at 100 so I don't recommend anything over 60 even for large dogs as I would consider it torture on myself. It's seriously more like a stun gun at 100.

This collar, so far, has been a game changer. I know it’s a little bit more pricey than other collars, but the remote makes it worth it. Most of these inexpensive amazon collars break within a matter of hours (or don’t even work properly as soon as unboxed). We have a Staffy and she is pretty large and unruly (rescue dog) and this has definitely slowed her down and improved her behavior so far. Not to mention it actually stays powered on and the collar is pretty durable (both of these issues I’ve had with other collars.)

I have a very active younger Mastiff, he is too big for his energy and needed some manners. I only need to show him the remote now. The actual collar part is my favorite part. Unlike the nylon collars, this does not loosen up, the covers for the leads are great too. I purchased this collar for a very large German Shepherd(135 lbs). He is very stubborn and hard headed. My son rescued another male shepherd (10 months) and my GSD has not taken to him at all! After using the vibration for a few days, he got the hang of that. When he tried to go after the pup, I did shock him and he stopped but I did remove the pup. I know it will be a process, but in just a few days I've seen improvement. I've had GSDs all my life but he is the largest and most stubborn and the biggest alpha I've seen. His only aggression is towards other large males. I would recommend this collar and might order another pronged device for my other dog to curb her barking.

Collar is well made and works great. I have a large dog and the collar is helping me to train him not to bark needlessly. It is so effective, make sure and dial down the shock intensity as I had it set too high (default setting) and on first use, my dog thought he was "in trouble" most of the day.
