This shampoo is a miracle. My mom took in a shih-tzu and she was having all kinds of skin issues. She came from a bad situation. I personally have many sensitivities to "chemical" smells and this doesn't bother me. I also like how the shampoo does a good job cleaning his fur but not drying out his skin. Only caution is to that you do need to rinse well! I actually like it a little better "watered down". It was a little easier to rinse out. I would recommend this for any dog but especially for ones with sensitive skin.
