This choice is naturally decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process and comes from coffee farms that are certified by the Rainforest Alliance. Moreover, these beans are medium-roasted and don’t taste bitter. They have a smooth flavor. Even though this decaf is on the mild side of a medium roast, it will give you a soothing comfort at any time of the day.

"I meant to buy the whole bean of this brand and blend but accidentally purchased the ground version. I don’t have a drip coffee maker but turns out this makes the best cold brew. 1 cup beans to 4 cups water ratio. Let sit about 24-36 hrs and this is the best cold brew I’ve ever had. The grind size is perfect."

This medium roast of Bolivian Peaberry coffee from Volcanica is exactly what a medium roast should be. It’s sweet and smooth, with a rich cocoa taste and a long finish. If you make it with a French press, it has a lot more body and tastes almost like hot chocolate, especially if you add a little cream and sugar. About 5% of coffee cherries have a natural change that makes them look like peaberries. Therefore, in making this product each fruit only makes one coffee bean, called a Peaberry.
