We got this bed for an adult child who was coming home but wouldn't be home for a long. We wanted something that could be transitioned into the play room as extra bed/sitting space when she moved out. She says it is very sturdy, comfortable, and the trundle pulls out easily. We opted to not put a mattress in the trundle for now so she could use it as extra storage.
