The hi-hats have incredible stick clarity and swell, making them ideal for both hard and gentle grooving. The crashes have a short decay time and dissipate fast, making them ideal accent sounds. The ride is more delicate than you’d expect from a ride cymbal, and it may be banged on. These are the cymbals to choose if you’re seeking for a warm sound. They’ll do an excellent job of blending in with the crowd while delivering just enough attack to be effective.

It has superb stick definition and just enough overtones to keep it sounding delicate.

Sound better in person than in Mike Johnston's promo videos! The transition ride is everything it's supposed to be, Thunder Butter is aptly named, the hats have a great "chick" and support the groove and have great definition, and the biggest surprise is how amazing the 18" extra thin crash sounds! Great set, well worth it!

These cymbals sound good for the money , I have been playing drums for 57 Years i started when i was 10 years old I have 5 different sets of cymbals that cost me $$$$ i like these for the look but they good for rock & roll kind of like my K Zildjian set but cheaper !

The New Beat hats are quite popular among drummers, and the crashes and ride cymbals offer fantastic tones.

These are great cymbals... They sound very professional, look amazing. For a giging drummer what more do you need? They arent A customs but who cares? You can buy 3 sets of these for the price of 1 set of A customs... If you play A lot these are a great option don't let the price snobs convince u otherwise...

They’re bright and hefty, which makes them ideal for cutting through high-energy song mixes. As a result, they’re a wonderful fit for gospel contexts. These will work nicely if you’re performing in a church with a choir and a lot of shout breaks. When playing grooves, the 14″ hi-hats have a crisp tone that stands out. Crash and sustain are balanced in the 16″ and 18″ crashes. The 20″ Medium ride is kind of aggressive.

These cymbals sound phenomenal! The ride has such a great clean sustain and the bell on the ride is quick with lots of punch. The high hats sound great too, not too bright and very quick response. The two crash cymbals sound so good you can use them as a secondary ride especially for rock music. Overall I’m still sold with Zildjian’s classic sound quality, as I was originally going to buy a Sabian cymbal pack, but not after playing these!
