This one has a strong clamp and appears to be well-made. In addition to two extra springs, the curling iron comes with a black heat-resistant rubber mat that measures approximately 4 inches by 8 inches and can be used to lay the curling iron on. The mat allows you to put the curler down after doing a small ray of hair and then pick it up off the mat without worrying about damaging the environment.

First of all, the price is amazing but so is the quality! My hair is typically very straight and it holds a curl when I use this iron! It's lightweight and gets hot quickly! The 1-1/4 size created the Perfect wave for my long hair!
