The Wantdo Packable Down is a simple, straightforward, and reliable lightweight budget down jacket. With a basic and simplified feature set that doesn’t add unnecessary size, weight, or complexity, it’s light, compact, and sturdy enough to deserve a position in your pack for your next backcountry trip. The fabric is somewhat more robust, and the baffles are slightly larger than the nearest rivals, making it more suitable for outdoor usage in general. These larger baffles make the jacket a touch warmer (larger baffles allow for more loft and hence more warmth) and increase the down within the jacket’s lifetime by preventing it from being restricted and compressed as much as smaller baffles do.

I love it! I’m 5’3 currently pregnant about 150lbs and Medium fits perfect. You can still wear an under-layer and be comfortable. Keeps you warm too!

It seems to be simply another outdoor-oriented lightweight down jacket. The hood, which is detachable and adjustable and has a cinching string to keep the heat in, is the most remarkable feature. It features a soft and toasty collar, which is ideal for cooler days as a hoodless jacket. We also like how light and compact it is, making it ideal for on-the-go storage for longer journeys when you might want to take your jacket. It is comprised of luxuriously soft and supple fabrics that are delightful to the touch, contributing to its overall comfort.

Love this coat! It’s light, not bulky, able to scrunch it up into my pack when I get too warm. And it keeps me warm in cold weather!

This jacket is designed entirely of 650 down fill and has the trademarked “Omni-heat” inner lining, which offers excellent insulation. The inside lining is made to work with the insulation and keep your body warm. With a somewhat thicker polyester outer shell that delivers a great lot of wind resistance. The narrow cut could only fit a thin fleece below, but considering the warmth, it was more than enough for most situations.

Having an incredibly compact and light insulating layer in your bag is fantastic insurance to give comfort in different situations, whether you’re packing your bag for your regular commute to work or a day out in the mountains. The Rokka&Rolla has an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio due to its 100% 650 fill duck down insulation.  It easily fits into the included stuff pouch, with the possibility of fitting into a smaller area.

The Mountain Warehouse is an adventure-ready option with a strong outer shell that resists snagging and ripping from branches. The jacket features a long torso that provides enough covering and a roomy shape that is ideal for layering underneath. The hood was large enough to go over a helmet but not so huge that it drooped down over your eyes, making it one of the few hooded jackets worth choosing.

It is not as thick as I was expecting it to be, but Surprisingly it's warm. We get freezing weather and the wind doesn't come through at all.
