This pants designed with an adjustable waist, boot zipper, and boot gaiters, then you can do your job comfortably.

These pants are great! Wore them in Park City, Utah for a whole week. The temperature was -8° and the parents kept me warm and dry. I am 5'7" and purchased a medium. They were slightly loose around the waist but great for layering. I would even consider buying another pair in a different color.
