Lucy is available on Ultra HD Blu-ray with an extraordinarily gorgeous transfer produced from a 4K digital intermediate, exhibiting enormous fine detail, wonderfully realistic skin tones and textures, and stunningly dynamic color reproduction throughout. At all times, skin tones and textures seem to be quite genuine. You know you’ve achieved an amazing degree of clarity when you can identify pores and blemishes on the face of someone as gorgeous as Scarlett Johansson. As the film progresses into real science fiction territory, the disc continues to dazzle, with brilliant HDR-enhanced colors and excellent contrast.

Parabellum, the third part of the John Wick film franchise, sees the return of the infamous assassin John Wick. The action, particularly the combat choreography and attention to detail employed in the bullet exchanges, is hectic and entertaining, as it was in the prior films. Visual effects are used lightly in favor of superb stunt performance, which adds to the film’s appeal. The Parabellum is one of the best movies to watch on Blu-Ray because you can see every aspect of each gunfight in clear and enticing clarity.

Yes, the whole thing was about John Wick surviving in order for the next story to be big and badder. So you one and three star rating moron's get over yourselves. Cecep Arif Rahman and Yayan Ruhian did not disappoint, and Halle was a pleasant surprise not to mention the intense work with the dogs. Waiting for J.W. 4 with hopes a character is created for Tony Jaa.

Avengers: Endgame arrives on UK Ultra HD Blu-ray a few weeks after its US release, with a mostly excellent 4K picture that, owing to good HDR execution, exceeds the putative limitations of its 2K Digital Intermediate. The picture on the DVD has a resolution of 3840 x 2160p and is presented in the film’s original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.4:1. This UHD Blu-ray edition will enhance an already outstanding fighting scene. The film is a must-see for fans, nothing could top the first three Phases and this dramatic ending.

It’s truly 7hours long!! The added bonus features are commentary on the making of this movie. Lots of detail and inside information on our favorite marvel characters! If you’re a true fanatic this version should serve you well♥️

Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse is another film that makes use of your TV’s outstanding HDR. Even if you aren’t a fan of superhero films, this is a must-have for its stunning visuals. This animated Spiderman film featured a comic-style animation that was not seen in any previous film. Because of the crisper lines and increased contrast, the film’s distinctive animation technique appears even better in 4K HDR. Color pop is increased somewhat in the Spider-Man costume, and the colorful final climax looks amazing in HDR.

I’m a lifelong spidey fan and I don’t even care this wasn’t done in 3D. With that being said this movie was awesome! A true love letter to our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Definitely worth the buy and my son couldn’t stop talking about when we saw it in theaters.

Christopher Nolan is a movie purist. As a consequence, Dunkirk was shot in stunning 65mm, and the effects are truly breathtaking. It doesn’t get any better than this for film aficionados like Nolan. Dunkirk’s cinematic adaptation is already stunning in terms of warfare visuals. Thanks in large part to the original 65mm film, home viewers would be hard-pressed to find a film as crisp and detailed as this. It’s stunning, and anybody who wants to show off their new 4K TV should get it.

It could be very possible that many Americans have little or no knowledge of Dunkirk. I have read so many books about WWII and cannot recall references to this extraordinary event. This film shook me. I still get goosebumps when I think about all those very young men suffering unspeakable traumatic injuries and death. Please don’t let these reviews put you off from watching this stunning movie. You may be weeping at the end for the young and old....heroes all.

The quality of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will elicit a wide range of reactions. But there’s one thing that everyone can agree on: The Rise of Skywalker looks fantastic in 4K HDR. The Rise of Skywalker, unlike many current films, was shot in 35mm, giving it an old-school cinematic appearance evocative of classic films. Thanks to HDR, the colors are vibrant and stunning, and the 4K resolution improves picture clarity and overall detail. This is sheer cinematic enchantment.

Let me start by saying that I hated the last jedi.. I thought the force awakens was ok, was a good movie on it's own but combined with the last jedi it really went down the crapper. The Rise of Skywalker almost seemingly erases the last jedi, it feels like it picks up where the force awakens left off.. and maybe that's for the better. 5 Stars, thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Matrix, a pioneering picture for its time, delivers a fantastic 4k home theater experience with vibrant colors and a dramatic Dolby Atmos soundtrack by Don Davis. The film has also maintained its beauty over time and is one of those films that is difficult to turn off when you see it on TV. With this Blu-Ray edition, the original movie’s grim but dramatic action sequence can’t get much better. With the Matrix Blu-Ray movie, immerse yourself in the virtual reality universe.

I can literally watch this movie over and over and over and over and over again. The subliminal messaging in it speaks so much truth about the world we live in. "It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to Blind you from the truth that you are a slave, you live in a prison that you cannot see smell taste or touch." Truer words have never been spoken.

With its future setting of Los Angeles, Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner (1982) has become a classic of dystopian cinema. You can enjoy the intricacy in the sets, lighting, and cinematography that was ahead of its time in 4k with HDR. The sound design and composition by Vangelis are better than ever on 4k Blu-ray thanks to the inclusion of Dolby Atmos in the UHD BD version. Even its highly appreciated sequel, Blade Runner 2049, released decades later, cannot equal this film’s creativity and colorful composition.

Bladerunner has always been one of my favorite movies; I'm not going to discuss the film itself. What really blows me away though is the transfer to 4K. While I know almost every word spoken, this is like watching a different movie. You can get lost just looking at the visuals. The amount of detail that comes through, and the intensity of the colors, (not to mention the immersive audio,) is unlike anything I've ever seen before.

With Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Luc Besson takes things to the next level, creating off-world graphics that alone are enough to justify this disc’s inclusion in any serious Ultra HD enthusiast’s collection. While the film’s excessive use of crystal clear CGI may give it an unnatural appearance, there’s no doubting the degree of detail and beauty visible in every scene. The sceneries have an exceptional degree of beauty, with deep blues and dazzling highlights that make excellent use of the format’s HDR/Dolby Vision capabilities. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is the next stunningly stunning reference grade 4K Blu Ray disc you should get.

I really liked it, very visually appealing and they just crammed a metric ton of super cool scifi trickery (future stuff I mean) into the movie. Also felt that even though the trailer spoiled most of the really great scenes it DIDNT really spoil (I did have my suspicions, which turned out correct but they were never blatantly revealed) the plot, so that's always nice to see.

Hacksaw Ridge appears on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray with a gorgeously detailed transfer that’s reinforced by a fantastic HDR color range, despite being generated from a 2K digital intermediate. The film’s cinematography shines because of its great dynamic range, which allows for exceptionally accurate color and light reproduction, particularly in gloomy moments. At times, the conflict scenes in Hacksaw Ridge eschew realistic color palettes in favor of a stylized, almost monochrome aesthetic. Instead of seeming dreary and grey, HDR helps you to fully perceive the varied tones at work. A bombardment of explosions punctuates these sequences, contrasting vibrant flashes of color against a dreary landscape.

Great movie, inspiring, sobering and enlightening. The battle scenes were horrific, the story was endearing and heart-breaking. The message of conviction was strong. The fact that this is a true story is amazing. This guy was a true hero among men but more importantly was a true servant of the God he loved and served first.
