I was reluctant to purchase a blender but my Black and Decker just couldn't take the ice cubes.. I needed a high-power appliance that would really crush ice. It is spectacular. Makes smoothies look like ice cream.

With 5 speed settings and a big 64oz jar. The NutriBullet NBF50500 costs a little extra. It has a very solid basis and is powered by 1200 Watts. Aside from that, it is also very easy to clean, and the controls are built to be user-friendly.
