Instead of being attached to the frame of your bike, the LINKA connects directly to the seat of your bike and fits just below the seat post (saddle). In order to completely disable your bike, the LINKA must be used.

The lock feels super sturdy and definitely high quality. It was soooo cool to watch it lock up on command the first time! While closing, I put my finger in front of the lock and it just automatically opened. Pretty damn smart so far. Will see how it goes by the middle of the summer.
