We have been through MANY ice makers and all have failed miserably. Some lasted a couple of months and most made very little ice. The best ice machine! I bought 4 different icemaker at amazon for different locations and this is by far the best one! clear and more dense ice. Unfortunately a lot of different reviews mislead me , i wish i have tried this one before. Many reviews complain that the ice comes in batchs, but they are supper easy to break and some times its even easier to load this way.

It made ice quickly, kept it cold even though the inside is not refrigerated, and worked flawlessly. I like the fact that I can set the timer on it and make ice for a designated time, it cleans up nicely and drains all the water out too. I opted to use a 2 gallon water jug in mine instead of hooking it up to a sink and that worked great. Before I knew it I had 25 lbs of Ice just sitting in there ready to use. The unit looks nice and cleans up easily too.

I did A LOT of research before pulling a trigger on this Whynter stand alone ice machine and i was not disappointing. This machine creates ice FAST and clear. Great for my basement. I did hook it up to a reverse osmosis water filter which was professional done. I've had the machine for 6 months and it's working like a charm. Highly recommended if your looking for cocktail ice and impress your guests.

Undercounter machine with a convenient sliding door contains a massive 90 pounds of ice and can produce up to 132 pounds of ice in a 24-hour period. But, as they say, “peace of mind is not cheap.” This ice maker’s quality is on par with other high-end refrigerators in terms of price.

This unit went in fairly easily. I had a professional do it and he said he liked it and It was easy. This unit produces a lot of ice. I am trying to give away ice to family and friends. This device blows away the last two we had that produced very little ice and broke down each year. I do recommend this ice maker.

The U-Line is comparable to a dependable automobile that takes you to work every day. The matte black appearance isn’t very eye-catching. With a width of just about 14 inches, it’s smaller than most other under-counter units. It’s also probably all the equipment you’ll need. This ice machine is quick enough to keep up with drink demands, with crescent ice cubes descending every 20 minutes.

I replaced my old uline ice maker that was 20 years old with this new one. I hooked it up myself and I am a woman. Lol. I love this icemaker. If you want to turn it off when it's full, you just lift the lever arm and the ice stays frozen until you are ready for it to make more ice. This icemaker is awesome!
